Spawning location reset

I'm not sure where to post it, but anyone else experienced this? When I access the "Interaction (hold SELECT for a brief time) menu" and going down to the spawn location, it's set to "Last location", although I set it to either the address or garage. And even when I change it, after closing and accessing the menu again, there's that again. What's wrong with that now?

Sounds like it isn't saving your setting properly, have you tested it by dying to see where you spawn in the next lobby (garage/apartment)?

How do you close the interactive screen? Do you click O or B to exit out or do you hold select again?

 

I've been having a simlar problem but mine is i have it set to Random but i've been spawning inside my garage every time.

Yeah, sorry for that, I wasn't sure, where to going with this.

No, I didn't died yesterday, I played IO and was solo there, only way to die was either killing myself via the menu, or cause some trouble with cops. None of them was on my schedule. Switching sessions is also a little bit troublesome, even when I want change characters, I mostly get those "timed out getting session" or what it reads. But on the start of that session I spawned in the apartment (when it's really Last location, I spawn usually outside the apartment, mostly in the back of it, not inside), it should work that way, still it shouldn't reset every time I look in that menu. So it probably works properly, maybe just resets the priority or something, but it didn't happen never before.

I exit the menu every time via pressing O (even when choosing a waypoint like Simeon or whatever during driving my car), did it that way in the previous patch and even before and before. It hadn't absolutely any effect on that before.

Happens to me daily but I still spawn at my apartment guess just a glitch. I always set my spawn location to garage but in the menu and on that it says last location.

Do you actually spawn at the last location over where you set it?

Mostly yes, I help myself via the creator to force the cloud save, so it should save the last location, but even when I set the last location in the apartment, I then spawn outside (mostly on that parking lot in the back). Garage and address worked fine so far, but it didn't reset in the menu before. Maybe it continues to work fine as I always set it back to where I want (ie. garage), I never let it on the Last location now (as I have no intention of spawning outside, when going to public for whatever reason), so that should work. But it's a little annoying to set it always manually back to the option I want.

No idea but i guess it's a bug from 1.11 or 1.12 I have the same but at the apartment

I would say it's because of 1.12, in 1.11 it was okay, I used a lot to change spawn locations in there and never experienced any issues with it before. It remained where I left it. It's just now, where it resets to Last location.

You have to change it in the pause menu now. Go to <Online <Options <Spawn Location.

What? Then I don't get the point of being it in the Interaction menu anymore. Why do you have a quick access to that function, when you have to set it in the start menu instead?

Probably for the likes of us where it's broken you have to do that but it does work via the I.M for most people.

Curious though are you on Xbox or PS3? I'm the only person from the regulars in the crew who have this issue

Xbox has the BACK button instead of SELECT, I'm on the regular slim PS3.

 

Well, reading in the Guides & Strategies section, others apparently experienced those issues too.

Yeah but I call the Xbox select button anyway. Guess the only option is to use the pause menu until they fix it (if)

I guess, you're right. Although it's not that much of an issue, I start private sessions in the apartment anyway and going to public free roam on very rare occasions, the Creator helps a lot to quickly start an IO session.

Strange, but today it was set to the address as it should be, so it returned to normal. Some sessions it's reset and some it's not, I don't get it.

Mine has been fixed I removed the title update by accident when i re downloaded it's been fine
