An Idea For Content Creator

Okay, so let me start this off by saying that I was debating whether posting in the Content Creator thread so I just posted it here. If you move it, I'm completely fine with that.

 

Anyways, I was thinking to myself, "Wouldn't it be great if we could build/edit our created content from the comfort of our own computer instead of having to go onto our Xbox/Ps3 and play it?" Now I know what you're thinking; "How will we be able to test the created content then?". Well the answer to that is simple, you can save the race / death match / capture without publishing it, therefore you can test it when you're on your platform console and publish it when you're done. So here's how I plan on it working.

 

Details

 

• You can simply type all the information for the title and description in each race. This makes it easier for people who don't have a controller keyboard for their consoles. As for vehicle classes, weather, slipstream, catch-up, and many other variables, you can simply click the check boxes with your mouse.
• As for the lobby camera, you can control the camera with the arrow keys and take a picture by clicking the mouse.

Placement

 

• For the trigger marker, checkpoints, props, etc., the players will be able to the rotate and move the props with the arrow keys and place the prop down by clicking the mouse. I'm sure you get my gist by now with the arrow keys and mouse clicking.

 

I know that there isn't much information on this but I just came up with this while laying in bed and I couldn't think of many different details to add that aren't already implemented. Let me know in the replies if there's anything I missed or you have any other suggestions that you will think might work, and if this gets enough good feedback, I might send an e-mail to R*.

This may sound dumb but as for the lobby camera, making CP, trigger, props,etc. How can we take a picture and put stuff without a game for PC(unless it's gonna be announced soon by R*) or a laggy flash content creator. However I liked the idea about putting all info for the title and description of your job using keyboard since it's pain in the ass by using controller then hovering & select and I made lots of mistakes to it lol. Also, there's a huge chance that R* won't probably read these forums about your ideas so it's better to send them in e-mail and we'll see about their answers.
