How to install GTA Vi iV (GTA V MOD PC), full step by step guide!

Those Who are facing ERRORS and PROBLEMS, READ ME!!!
Ok, follow these steps if you are facing errors etc!! (it worked for me!)

 

NOTE:

This Method is for GTA IV (which is patched to 1.0.7.0)

I don't know if this method will work with other GTA IV versions (TBOGT or EFLC, or Modded GTA IV)

 

 

1) First of all REMOVE your GTA IV and install a FRESH copy of GTA IV. (if you don't have backup of your GTA IV then make sure you remove all MODS and extra stuff)... Also goto

" My Documents/Rockstar Games/GTA IV/ "

and delete/backup all the stuff you see there (SAVE GAMES, MUSIC etc).. (make sure the folder is empty after backing up that stuff).

 

 

2) After installing or removing all extra stuff, apply patches... (if you have applied patches GOTO STEP 3 else read below)

 

i) Start patching game from 1.0.1.0 to 1.0.7.0 (in ascending order e.g., first install patch 1.0.1.0, THEN 1.0.2.0, then 1.0.3.0 then 1.0.4.0 then 1.0.5.0 then 1.0.6.0 and lastly 1.0.7.0

ii) If your game starts during patching DON'T PANIC!!! just go ahead and apply all patches,then start game...

 

 

3) When game starts " DO NOT CHANGE ANY GRAPHICS SETTINGS ". If you have changed graphics settings just goto GRAPHICS settings and click on AUTO CONFIG...

 

 

4) Now START game and it will start a NEW GAME, play game for 10 seconds (if it lags a lot DO NOT CHANGE SETTINGS, keep playing for 10 seconds).

 

5) After playing for 10 seconds, press escape key and goto GAME tab and make sure CLIP CAPTURE is "ON", now click on quit and quit the GAME.

Now follow these STEPS!!!!

 

Make sure you have installed:

Microsoft .Net Framework 4.0

Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 Redistributable Package (x86)

6) Now Download these files

i) SCRIPT HOOK https://mega.co.nz/#!5BQUibDI!dpY6Nw_JlLJelBVmzpOWRSqdnuQbcW7kOrPDPPXN3tA

ii) Open IV http://openiv.com/WebIV/guest.php?get=1

 

7) Extract SCRIPT HOOK anywhere in your Harddisk, and after extraction,Run OPEN iv which you have downloaded in above step, and install it. after installation open RUN OPEN IV.

 

8) NOW, Click on Grand Theft Auto IV (second option).

 

9) AND SELECT your GTA IV location where you have installed your GTA IV.

 

10) After selecting it will take sometime to configure and atlast open a WINDOW where you can see GTA IV files... CLOSE This coz we don't need it now.

 

11) Now again open OPEN IV and this time click on PACKAGE INSTALLER (Very LAST option).

 

12) It will open a window, from there select the script hook file which you have extracted in STEP 6 (i)... (which is in .oiv extension) and click ok

 

13) Now SELECT GTA IV from this MENU and in next menu select ASI LOADER BY ALEXANDER BLADE (FIRST OPTION).

 

14) It will again configure game and a new menu will appear (DO NOT CLICK ON RUN GTA IV). click CLOSE.

15) Now again open OPEN IV and again select package installer, then select the scripthook.oiv file then click GTA IV and NOW CLICK ON 3rd Option which is "ScriptHook for Patch 1.0.5.0 to 1.0.7.0"

 

16) Again it will configure game and a new menu will appear (again click on CLOSE, DO NOT RUN GAME)..

Now SIMPLE STEPS ARE:

17) Now DOWNLOAD GTA Vi IV MOD (alpha), and extract it to GTA IV folder (see the screenshot below, COPY AND REPLACE ALL FILES if it asks

 

 

18) Now Right click on launchgtaiv.exe and goto PROPERTIES>>Compatability tab and MARK THE "Run this program as ADMIN", click on apply and click ok.

 

19) Now RENAME THESE FILES like this:

"RIL.ViIV.Tooling.asi" to "RIL.ViIV.Toolinggg.asil" (add "gg" before .asi)

"RIL.ViIV.EpisodeHook.dll" to "RIL.ViIV.EpisodeHookkk.dll" (add "kk" before .dll)

98% WORK IS DONE

20) Now Double click LaunchGTAIV.exe and WOOooooooHOOooooo The game is LAUCNCHED

 

it will be a black screen but wait a few minutes (my game lauched in less then 1 minute )...

DO NOT ALT-TAB, Do NOT PRESS ANY KEY, just leave the PC ALONE

The game will Launch after sometime and you can play it (after playing you can change the extension if you want )

Everyone downloaded the mod have to read the readme.txt file included in .zip file.

May read that .... (synthesis)

1- Backup / Remove your savegames from My Docs.

2- Paste viiv folder, RIL.ViIV.Tooling.asi, RIL.ViIV.EpisodeHook.dll in your existing game's repertory.

N.B: you can paste xlive.dll file provided or if your game is already modded you can keep yours !!

3- Launch a new game.

4- Wait few minutes (about 5 mn) on black screen and enjoy !

 

To come back on regular game, rename extention of RIL.ViIV.Tooling.asi (Ex: RIL.ViIV.Tooling.bak), restore your savegame and launch.

Finally, now i know how to do it! here is step by step tutorial:

 

 

How to spawn objects and more with SNT on ViIV alpha maps

• Install the mod and start it one time without any mods, then close it.
• Download Simple Native Trainer v6.3, then copy only this three files in root of IV folder:

   

  ScriptHook.dllTrainer.asitrainer.ini

• Go to the path with windows explorer:

   

  C:\Program Files\Rockstar Games\Grand Theft Auto IV\pc\data\maps\props\windows\

  and copy "windows" folder to this path:

   

  C:\Program Files\Rockstar Games\Grand Theft Auto IV\viiv\data\maps\props\

• Now open "gta.dat" and "images.txt" files with notepad, that located in:

   

  C:\Program Files\Rockstar Games\Grand Theft Auto IV\viiv\data\

  and add this string inside of "gta.dat" file right under "#props files" comment:

   

  "IDE platform:/DATA/MAPS/PROPS/WINDOWS/GEN_WIN.IDE"

  also you need to add one string inside of "images.txt" file right in the end of file:

   

  "platformimg:/data/maps/props/windows/gen_win 1"

• Close all the applications and save the changes, start game.
• Open SNT with F3 button and select this function:

   

  "Object spawning -> spawn object by hash or name"

  and enter this decimal hash "3407476843" or you can press F10 button and enter name "cj_garage_door_big" - done.
• If you want to spawn more objects and such stuff, you can copy almost anything from IV folder inside of viiv, following this logic. You will also need OpenIV and Notepad++ for this process. You can open and view 3d models with OpenIV. Open four files (two gta.dat and two images.txt) with notepad++. Also if you need to know model hash by name:

I did reinstall the game but the problem persists, im starting to think that this issue is more related to my windows, which is windows 7 Service Pack 1 X86 , i also manage to get rid of that error, which was cause by some asi file, i dint get to see which one was, but like i said the game gives me an error right when it starts to load the graphics, thanks for you help

Hey i'm having problem in GTA IV. While I've done installing the game it gives an error that " gta iv ordinal 42 not found xlive.dll " And when i fixed that error by googleing it, another error occurs in Social Club window, when i click on play it says " Unable to load "
And one more thing, the game i've installed only occupies 10 GB of space in my HDD and i'm so Damn Shocked and confused cu'z every one says it requires 16 Gb of space.
Please Guys Help Me Out Please. I just can't live without playing that game.
