Does R* Plan Release Dates?

They probably release content when they are ready. Like with the valentines update, it came out a day earlier than what it actually was going to be.

No.

They simply established a new deadline, however, that doesn't mean the project is done.

They have a timetable of when they might expect it (such as saying "Sometime in May" or "Spring 20XX" and so on.)

This is correct.

The thing with GTAO that I find different than most games I have played(mostly PC) is people are constantly trying to "break" it. When game changing events like such have happened in this game, their deadlines are most definitely pushed. Of course the groundwork and majority if not all is already complete, however they are not going to release it if it will open more exploits or there are current exploits already out.

I think I will be a bit miffed if they try and pull a June release like one of my crew mates suggested, as technically, the first day of summer is June 21st. So if they release it on June 17th (which is technically spring), I'm going to think that is really cheesy.
