BrokenLizard Posted April 24, 2014 Share Posted April 24, 2014 I feel like there isn't anything to do in the game, both SP & online. Maybe it's just getting old now, but thinking about it, I've always felt like this. After completing all side missions, scripted "random" events, etc., there is NOTHING to do but shoot it out with the cops or role play, which we all know is unproductive. So then I go to online to find some fun. But I get very bored of killing people in free mode or playing rooftop rumble. The only game mode I like is Capture, the problem is that it's the least popular among players. It feels very linear. What I'm trying to say, is instead of releasing DLCs that have a couple cars or clothes online, release some features that will prolong the fun (i.e content creator, heists, casino, mall). Those are the things people really want. And although R*s main focus was online (so it seems), add some new things to SP as well. It'd be nice to play SP and not get bored of it. I know they can't just put everything in the game at once for sake of excitement and they're not that generous, but this is getting old. The heist DLC in particular. I mean, why put the casino in the game but not usable. Why tease me? Then since they're working so "slowly", fun sh*t like that becomes irrelevant and people don't even care anymore. IN: Its suprising how many gamers in this generation are so desperate to ''do something new''.. -______- I remember back in the day when there was only Sp, and it wasnt even like GTA where you did missions, and could play after the main storyline. Games were depicted in the story, and story only. You had to either replay it, or just play it once. Osho Posted April 27, 2014 Share Posted April 27, 2014 SP turned boring really fast, never had such an experience in the past, but GTA V has some really annoying elements ( locked areas, for instance ) that just ruins any chance of going back to the game. There's a lot, I'm missing about GTA in V, still the hope lives with future announcements. Online gets it right with Jobs, but in SP, once you've hit the jackpot there's little to do other than gamble on the stock market to line your pockets. I'm all about racking up stats, and money in this game is a stat. In Single Player, I find myself replaying missions, taking pictures, finding collectibles, or heading to "gang" territories to rack up kills and of course getting in trouble with the law. That's still a decent amount of things to do, but it feels meaningless in comparison to what happens Online. Not bad compared to the mere $11 carried by the richest of the cell-phone yapping, Comet-driving, yuppie, Los Santosians.
