Merryweather Backup Helicopter

So I was getting chased by 4 players earlier at the airport and they all had Annihilators and just couldn't kill me in a stock Gauntlet. I was literally just driving around and listening to their frustrations of not being able to hit me or kill me. So I thought it would be interesting to call the backup chopper and see them react and I had never used it before. Sounded like the perfect opportunity.

 

So it turned up. I thought it would be a passenger one with guys shooting rifles out the side but its a Buzzard. Which does nothing. Except follow you around like a dog.

 

How is it supposed to work exactly or is it just broken? The guys were clearly shooting me and I was losing some health but it still just followed and did nothing?

It's pretty useless, especially against players. It definitely needs a buff, if anything.

I'm not sure if they help against players but in Survival they can be a life saver if you need some help when on your own.

its completely useless against players, one cooked grenade deals with the chopper easily, and its like a sitting rock when flying an attack helicopter

I wasn't doing it to necessarily kill them, just for them to be surprised at being shot at by a non-player or cop lol

They only shoot at bots, they are useless in free-roam.

It does give you an achievement though

They are only useful in Missions & Survival and can be lifesaving and helpful but anything else is just a waste of money especially in free-roam and they don't work in Captures or DM either

Sir, I must say you are wrong. I use it in Captures all the time (that's why I end up not making money from them). And they will shoot and kill players. Their just not that good at doing so. Plus it provides an excellent distraction.
