Coin
f*ck. Came in here in hopes of reading something telling me not to buy this game. Too many tempting games right now and in the next few weeks and all. Yeah, it's a bit of a quandary for myself too.

iiConTr0v3rSYx
Wonderful game. Things could get alittle chaotic during MP, though.

Fraizer
I have thought about getting it a lot. But I have Advanced Warfare coming on Monday, The master chief collection on the 11th, then GTAV on the 18th. So i might just wait til it goes on sale instead of passing on it because it does look like a blast to play.

nath22
Wonderful game. Things could get alittle chaotic during MP, though. I was surprised with how well MP is handled though, at times you have upwards of 100 enemies in a small place fighting 8 people and I've not noticed any problems. Hundreds of enemies during a night defense and yet the game runs real smooth.

iiConTr0v3rSYx
Sunset a rip off of infamous sucker punch needs to sue insomniac You should learn to write a proper sentence first. I finished the game today. It appears there will be a sequel going by what Fizzco is up to at the end of the game. Toke

Algonquin Assassin
Sunset a rip off of infamous sucker punch needs to sue insomniac Well I'll be damned. Another game similar to another. R* should sue all those developers for making "GTA clones" over the years. Anyway looks like a lot if of fun. Might pick it up by year's end. esmittystud101
Sunset a rip off of infamous sucker punch needs to sue insomniac Nah, Infamous character has better "spidy skills" and special powers. The Sunset Overdrive character has good railing "Tony Hawk" skills and uses weapons. They are way different. LOL Both games are open world. The maps are about the same size. But I think I'm going to have more time on Sunset Overdrive than I did with Infamous SS and First Light combined. Don'y get me wrong, I liked Infamous SS and First Light, but once you finished everything there is nothing left to do. No multi-player. Infamous is really the same missions over and over agian rinse and repeat anyways. I haven't played Sunset Overdrive enough to know if its like that or not yet. The story in Sunset Overdrive is better than Infamous SS and First Light, I don't think its debatable either. The characters in Sunset outshine Infamous as well, they just make me laugh everytime I watch something new. Both are good games though. I don't regret purchasing any of them. My biggest problem is now is finding time to play Sunset Overdrive. Just these past three weeks I got The Evil Within on PS4, Forza Horizon 2 on X1, Sunset Overdrive on X1, COD: AW on PS4, plus on Nov. 18th , GTA V on PS4 and Far Cry 4 on PS4. Time is all I need now. Can you buy time anywhere? I wish days ran for 36 hours instead of 24. I need more time. Edited November 4, 2014 by esmittystud101
nath22
The missions are pretty disappointing in all honesty. It's mostly fetch/kill hordes of enemies but because the game is so much fun and the world is so well made you tend to forget what you're actually doing. Some missions are genuinely great though, and the games dialogue keeps things from feeling too mundane even when you're doing the same thing over. Some missions are really great but it disguises a lot of the simple ones with gimmicks.
iiConTr0v3rSYx
Fizzy and the role playing faction was the best part of the game. The mission where you had to protect them while they gathered bark was just hilarious, all the while someone was playing a bard(probably the wrong name for it). Homemade Dynamite
Hey guys, I just finished the game. I was wondering, what are your overall thoughts on the characters? I thought most of them were good, I liked having such a colorful cast of character, each with quirky personalities (Sam being my favorite because he reminds me of myself). The only character I didn't like was Esperanza. I'm pretty sure Insomniac thought she was a badass, but she came off to me as being little more than bully than anything else. The whole time I was waiting for that scene where my character would stand up for herself, but that sadly never happened. Thankfully, she comes in pretty late in the game so I didn't have to deal with too her much. Overall, all the characters had more personality than any shooter with a bunch of bald-headed marines and it was refreshing change of pace. esmittystud101
I finally got around to playing this again. It was way better than I thought it was. The dlc was great too. This game was so much fun I didn't want it to end. I hope there is a sequel/more dlc, but I doubt it. I also have Infamous: SS and First Light, which were okay. But if I had to pick the best/design/fun factor. Sunset Overdrive is my choice. Favorite exclusive on Xbox One, probably my favorite game on the console.
