Massive problem - All money gone!

I was trying out the crew challenges today for the first time. I won a challenge that gave me some money and all went good without problems. Then i played a challenge that was supposed to have a 250 k payout. I won the challenge and was really happy with it so I did the challenge another time. I won it again so i did it a third time. After the third time i checked my bank account and was shocked. I was down to something about 4 k. The screen always declared me as the winner of the challenge but it seems like the money was always taken from my account and now i got a lot of questions.

 

Is this a bug or was it intenionally done by the creator of the challenge, so he could betray people for their money?

 

Do i have a chance of getting my money back?

 

Has anyone ever had similiar problems and maybe even found a solution?

it happens sometimes, to actually double your money you need a friend or crew member doing it with you.

 

you kept using your own 250k to start it, but you were on it solo, so you never doubled your bet.

 

my fortune was made in crew challenges, you need cash in hand and other players, although the player who put the money needs to win preferably.

 

crew challenges do not work SOLO, you will loose betting money.

i figure if you can still see listed challenges, you can still make money.

just need the initial 250k and someone else.

 

if it lags when starting it with others, someone needs to disconnect and it will load for the rest.

 

note: money will show up multiplied by each number of players in but it will be split at 250k each at most.

unless, say you have 5 people in the challenge lobby, but only two end up doing it, the money from the other players will go to those two.

 

only the host is risking money.

 

full proof way to keep the money is making sure to deposit it and switch sessions to force a save, even when you do win the money if you do not force a save between doing challenges, winnings might disapear.

thanks for the answer but i think the crew challenges are confusing. today i tried another challenge (solo again) and it told me that i lost. but i won the money and i got the 80 k on my bank account now. it seems like some kind of lottery to me i think i have to accept that my 750 k are gone but the new cars seem to not release soon anyway. enough time to re earn my money

you can make your own challenges too, if you have a custom playlist and 250k at hand.

the option is there in custom playlists, but NO ONE reads lol

 

first time you race your own challenge you're setting the record, not actually competing.

 

but yeah you're right, sometimes is random like that.

but whenever you do win, remember to deposit and switch to a new session.
