Timed out Locating Session Error

Can someone tell me why i keep getting the timed out locating session error and what i can do to get rid of it?

I suggest getting a CAT6Ethernet for your ps3. Here's one you can buy at a good price http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16812422712 Also make sure to open your ports for your router or try bypassing your router to get nat type 1.

I wish i can do that but my router is downstairs connected to my TV

you just need to hook up the ethernet to your router from your ps3.
