Heavy sniper issues?

Heavy sniper used to be cool when it was 1 shot 1 kill, but now it takes two shots. Whats the point of having a heavy sniper and the normal one? Both take two shots.

its only one still mostly if you hit them in the head or chest and they arent wearing armor and the lag isnt f*cking you so that you actually hit the limb while you aimed at the chest. ive never killed anyone with only two shots with regular sniper unless it was a headshot, lol! Ive dropped my regular one, worthless, no point to have both, only heavy is worth a sh*t

I've had a few a issues with it since the update, I've had clear headshots and the player(s) did not die, I don't think it's lag since they were standing still aiming at me.

I don't really mind, it's OP as it is anyway

most def lag of some sort as the issues are intermittent but its not op at all, if anything the regular sniper is underpowered. I dont care where anyone shoots you with a 50 cal sniper rifle, you wont be returning fire, lol! If they hit you in the arm or leg you might live if you dont bleed out before you get medical attention but you wont be in any condition to shoot back as your limb will most likely no longer be attached to your body.

I'm experiencing similar issues. A shame, I love taking out try hards who resort to miniguns because they have no aim.

 

A bit laggy, but it still gets the job done.

nah, still not unbalanced, you might think this if you play auto aim and suck at free aiming, but its legit, work on your skills! I play auto aim and use the sniper all the time, my fav weapon cause most people suck with it as they have to aim it themselves and its impossible to have sensitivity set so that you can be good up close and aim accurately from far away. i have it in middle kinda so im better than most with sniper, but that causes me to get jumped up close cause i cannot turn fast enough if they show up beside or behind me.

 

the only thing thats really over powered in this game is the tank and honestly i think its more the fact that RPGs and Sticky bombs are under powered actually. it should only take a max of 3 to kill a tank. maybe 2 in the weak spots. 6 or 7 to a weak spot is bullsh*t cause you never can fire more than one rocket without dying unless the guy in the tank is a complete moron, lol

I've been having trouble with the HS since the update as well. Sniped a guy dead in the chest and he kept on running, I thought OK fine maybe he's got armor and kill him with a 2nd shot. He respawns right across the street and I hit him in the chest again and he still lived...

 

The real WTF is the fact that later on that night, I one hitta quitta'd a guy with my regular suppressed rifle...

some people cheat and some people are quick with the snacks and armor you can carry, i think this is a factor as well, but i def notice lag. sometimes after i shoot them it takes 3 secs for them to take the damage and fall down and say they died on the screen. though they no longer shoot at me, they just stand there, lol

I had to re-purchase mine because for whatever reason, R* stole mine. Twice in the past few weeks. That's $60K ($33K/ea.) plus 9K bullets....this time I only bought 1K rounds of ammunition for it in case they steal it again.

how much of what kind did they steal? ive noticed my main weapon ammo getting pretty low after a few extended free roam sessions, i never really paid attention, just figuring i did indeed fire 8000 rounds in the last few hours, haha! maybe i lost some randomly somehow too, never noticed it on any other weapon but the rifles though. hardly use shotguns and you cant shoot too many too quick with the sniper and theyve never been low enough to make me think it disappeared by itself.

I lost mine after collecting one in a crate IIRC. I think the "remove crate weapon" code is screwy and takes your legit one if you have it.

Heavy Sniper doesn't one-shot kill if you hit a limb - maybe the neck counts?

That's it. I collected a crate and shortly after in a mission noticed my heavy sniper gone.
