Yea not too sure what he's talking about, my Comet does pretty good in races. All you need to do is learn how to master the oversteer,

 

Here's what 'm talking about....

 

RH8, Jester, Feltzer, Carbonizzaire & Coquette all better racers than the Comet.

 

If you can't crack the top 5 in your class than you better have some kick ass mods, Comet doesn't, in fact it has a stock GT wing that always looks out of place

 

 

First off the Alpha is faster than the Jester so you can cross that off your list. Secondly when you know how to handle the Comet you can take corners with ease. Also the GT wing isn't out of place most irl race cars have them from Cadilacs to Corvettes.

 

 

Ok if you believe the Alpha is a better racer than the Jester I can't help you! You know that is very much a minority opinion among racers, just look at leaderboards

 

The GT wing looks fine on racers which the Comet lacks the mods to be and those Caddy's and Vettes can take the wing off to look appropriate as a street version, Comet can't!

 

Really if your gonna make ridiculous arguments you should just start the "The Official Comet Appreciation Thread"

 

Using leaderboards to prove a point is poor at best....

You know, I never noticed that I've yet to see another player driving a comet, or that so many people disliked the way it drives..

 

Personally, it's got the most fun handling of any sports or super car. I don't race anymore as I've unlocked everything so I don't care much about how well it compares, all I know is when someones trying to run me down, they're gonna have a pretty long chase.

Back in the day, when GTA:O was still a new concept, I had two in my two car garage: yes, I was that guy. I had an all black one, that was really clean, with the only thing changed on it being the windows and rims, which were only changed to ones that looked similar to the stock ones so they could be black, too. Not even a roll cage in it. All stock performance. My second one was the one I raced with: It was a very bright red, with matching rims, chassis upgrade, huge spoiler, twin canards, and the damnedest I could do to upgrade the performance. Absolutely loved it. Either way you go, it looks great.

Pretty standard aren't they? Try looking at SUV wheels, they're mostly variations of Sport and High End ones but all swap around the chrome/painted parts.

The Comet is a great looking car; especially to have been ripped straight out of GTA4. But it's handling did nothing for me.
