Online event showing?

Just noticed after gtao crashed my ps3 again (thanks r*) that normally when the game loads up you have the option to push "x" to load to online, however when i did that it gives another option now to push triangle to load "online event" thing is ive done this several times and it times out (not surprising)

Has anyone noticed this, know anything about it or been able to get in? very interesting...

As i remember there is a "Join Tournament Playlist" in the Online menu>Playlist.Not sure if that gets you in.
