Racers - what would you consider to be your 'home' track?

I love down the drain when its full of decent racers in evenly matched cars and over a larger amount of laps. I hate when you either get the 'no braking into corners' type of player or those who simply can't stay in the race. I like it to be wheel to wheel all the way. Every single time I get out in front and open up a gap I seem to bottle it and make stupid mistakes. I've even spun out on straights from the over-excitement.

Is there one called something like the commute? I think its something like that, anyway I like that one too.

Route 68, Grand Tour, and the created F1 tracks are all awesome too.

I really need to get back into the racing, I was winning a lot of races a few months ago but I've become a very sloppy driver recently.

which is the one with Sanchez's going around a farm... alongside a highway, love that one.

Yeah that one is awesome, utilizes the Sanchez quite well.

Farm Fresh...but it is a verified one not Rockstar.

Taking Off. Long straightaways and easy curves, perfect for the discerning racer who can't drive worth a sh*t.

Vinewood Nights and Through the Grapevine from the original ones. Nurburgring from the current R* races.

I usually do custom races but if I had to pick a Rockstar Verified one, I'd say Long Haul 2.

I made my bones racing "In the Grove" in my Carbonizzare.

Laguna Seca and Nurburgring, as a regular racer in simulation racers such as Forza, those two tracks already have a lot of my prior knowledge to them. Of course it's a bit trickier because they aren't exact replicas and the car physics in gta are galaxies away from realistic, but still.

lol Forza a sim hahahaha

4 way madness by far, anything more than 2 laps to counter the carnage and I do well, mainly because nearly everyone else doesn't know how to fully control an airborne car. I'd like to say my own tracks but I suck at racing and they're too difficult for me lol

"Pier 2 Pier"- I use it for testing out potential car purchases and have ran it many, many times.

I don't think I can answer in any other fashion than to say my own created tracks. Anything else would be a lie.

I've been racing on tracks like Criminal Records, Down the Drain, Dockyard, Downtown Underground extensively in the first few weeks of GTAO so I've enjoyed quite a lot of success on those tracks since I know all their little secrets! So I kind of feel like home at those tracks.

But the one that is truly home is 4 Way Madness. I can't recall having lost a car race there...ever. I've lost a few times racing motorcycles but considering I suck at motorcycle races, I've done good.

Overall, my record stands at 302W - 209L

Down The Drain.

When I was a low level and never had anything unlocked I would always go find an open lobby and race the others and I usally used to win, And I still do :D

Any race that includes sharp corners where I can see high level nubsauces with fully modded cars rammed into wall.

And with just a hint of skill (which is about all I have) a bullet can beat adders, entities driven by the typical demolition derby types.

My home track though, would be my custom track Performance Test. It even starts near my home....so many laps trying out different cars...

Same as the OP, Downtown Underground was always my go to track as i just love everything about it. Out of my 200 odd race wins I'd say a large junk where from that track.

Also love the Senora Freeway track aswell, first time on that was epic, loads in the lobby and it got very messy early on but its just a great fast track with some great corners in it.

Been racing on my own track alot since yesterday aswell. Its a 5 mile slog called Banham Canyon Grand Prix (xbox). It's a great test of a racers driving skills. There's no silly jumps or props I'm the middle of the roads either like some of these tracks people have made. Check it out if you get a chance! :)

Downtown Underground for me also. I would say Dockyard but the last two turns are very hit and miss

Love to race you on this one, my favorite track for racing and i would definiatly agree more than 2 laps, but sometimes the first corner is all i need :)

After watching the Broughy videos I tend to use Cutting Coroners now, helps lure people in for easy wins, in-fact I've only lost on there twice out of about 30 competitive races now, due to ramming of course! :D In the better Super's and Sports I usually get a 1:00-1:01 standing lap and 56-58sec flying one if I've avoided the pit manoeuvres, I've only met a couple who were close really.
