Capture objects/actors not respawning?

Sometimes when I play custom captures the bags and actors don't respawn for a few minutes. Anyone else having this problem?

Yeah, some kind of occassional bug. I have had my GTA capture devolve into a DM when the target vehicles stopped spawning.

I think it might be a connection issue; the one time - so far - that it's happened for me, a player had just delivered the object, but his blip kept flashing on the radar (the larger circle that shows he's carrying the object had gone) and it wasn't until that player died that the object respawned.

when you have a group of actors bunched together, moving away from their spawn points should make them respawn, If not; you may want to try changing your pedestrian setting to low or medium as having too many npcs on screen can slow your game down and if you're near where the actors normally spawn than they'll be unable to do re spawn if there's a whole lot happening on screen at once like fighting police or blowing up a lot of cars.

Yup, this keeps happening to me on some of my captures. I suspect it might be related to model memory and lagg and stuff, but really got no idea. Thx to Rockstar for being so good at explaining how things work, and generally actually making them work...

I had this problem once but i found the solution right after i saw it. I don't know about you guys but as for me, The trffic/pedestrian zone was covering all my bags/capture points. as soon as i removed it, it kept spawning without any issues. So you might want to check out these Zones if they are not covering something that has to respawn.

 

Otherwise, i don't know what could be the issue else than Rockstar* connection lag.

In my case, a GTA Capture, there were no zones but the vehicles and actors never respawned.

 

I have noticed that the zones do not seem to work well for vehicles. I have another capture that seems to spawn cars inside the zone.

 

I find the no-pedestrian zone to be completely redundant since the moment people start shooting they all flee the area anyway. Best to not put a no-pedestrian zone in since it is just one more thing that could cause a bug/glitch and wreck game play in a very bug/glitch-prone game.

Seems to be game bug. In addition to seeing it happen on created maps, I've seen it happen on two Rockstar maps (seems to be a large issue with Contend type maps). On the townhall map had all the cases fail to respawn. On Salty Snatch had the case fail to respawn for several minutes, then the host left and the case suddenly respawned. May be host lag that causes it since that was the only time I've seen a case that's disappeared actually come back.
