Are heists all about hype?

I'm willing to bet both my kidneys that whatever heists are, the same people crying for them to be released won't be happy and will say Rockstar should have worked on them longer.

I'm not too fussed when it is that they arrive, never have been. Rockstar are dammed if they do and dammed if they don't - you just know there is going to be a barrage of hate resurfacing towards Rockstar as soon as heists are released. We all know they will be just new jobs to do. But it will be nice to have some new 'jobs' to do.

I'm much more excited for mission creator myself. Hell, just more contact missions in general would be nice.

If they're not going to release more of them, just give us a creator to make more ourselves.

I hope it will be a memorable mission. I don't think I'll forget some of the single player heists. I hope GTA Online heists aren't go in, get money, and leave.

Why dont they add sh*t to free roam? Like random encounters? Add a giant Dinosaur attacking npcs, animals, aliens,etc. Free roam is where most time is spent, why isn't more active?

I'm thinking a "Los Santos connection " type mission but maybe longer and better payout. It'd be quite cool if your safehouse was watched by the FIB for so long after so you have to use the other safehouse or get a five star wanted rating if you got close to it.

Similar to in SP when you couldn't enter Los Santos for a while because of our favourite golfer!

Why do you people think heists are called heists and not jobs? Maybe there will be cutscenes for the intro of the heist job and planning. One person does this and the other that.

I'm hoping that the reason Rockstar have prolonged the release of Heists is that they are making them better than what they were going to be originally. They will obviously have beta game testers testing these heists and giving feedback for them which may not be the feedback Rockstar initially expected.

 

It would be great if once they are released they create new ones every week or so to keep the community playing as everything becomes old an boring at some point.

 

I couldn't give a sh*t how much they pay out as long as they are enjoyable and keep me playing for a lot longer.

Certainly is. Bit like season finale, you can't wait for it then it's either a massive disappointment or not as good as thought it would be.

I have to agree. I enjoy the heists for what they are, but Rockstar mentioned them so much in their early discussions about the game that I felt as if SP was going to be nothing but heists, which I didn't want. As it turned out, there were only a few. I was hoping to see playable reproductions of movie heists like The Dark Knight and Quick Change (yes … I just said Quick Change).
