Without having read the thread...just watched the video. Please tell me which month they did not give us more content. Animals in online give too much lag, you want to go hunting switching to SP is very easy and integrated with online. If they put in all of the content in the first few months there would be nothing to add later.

Stop being impatient.

Bullsh*t...in the first 4-5 patches there was a bug where deer, coyotes and cougars (the animals, not older women into younger men) would all spawn occasionally causing catastrophic amounts of no lag. An animal is really no different to an npc or ped so don't give me that crap.

Also a large part of the problem is that R* have retrofitted limitations...when people talk of how emergency vehicleses should be banned they are quick to forget their merits asas a tool to roleplay...I sold GTAV because it got boring...and the fact remainss that if R* had left emergency vehicles in garages I, and others would still be playing...why? Because it allows the freedom to make your own fun, something R* seem determined to nip in the bud...

You may be right on the animals...I was merely guessing. I will say though that if I was a developer I would want to have community desire to focus furure content on. They want the game to last years. I am 95% sure emergency vehicles are being held for future use in a DLC involving player police characters. Animals and hunting and stuff would make a nice pack that people want. LSC customizations could be juicy enough to be a pack all on its own. There are three additional character slots left to unlock. There is so much possible content that we all want that will help pull this game through the long term. Those delays are necessary as giving it all to us now simply shortens the lifezpan of their cash cow.

So again it boils down to do you have the patience to wait...I do.

I don't feel like he has enough sense to be talking about the state of the game. His videos are about breaking the rules of the game, so he isn't playing it the way it was intended. He blasts some of his videos the first second it starts with HEYEVERYONEITSDOMISLIVE!!!! and based on those two things, he doesn't really need to be stating that the game is dying. Everyone in every online game shouts the sky is falling and the games are dying constantly throughout each game's lifespan. It's not dying. I can't find a lobby that isn't full for my friends to join me in without hitting Find new lobby at least 3 or 4 times and people are always fighting over turf. It's not dying. If he thinks it's getting stale, maybe he should try to play it legitimately and not abuse every f*cking thing he can or find shortcuts to gain money or RP, which obviously is going to mean he's cutting his playtime down the middle. If he takes advantage of exploits... he's not going to need as much time to accomplish the same things the rest of us accomplish. He's burned out faster because of that.

The only three issues I even see right now are

1) Cops are f*cking annoying in freeroam and deter people from doing anything. Want to steal cars or even shoot other players? No. Cops don't allow that! I shot a guy one time in self defense and a cop walked up behind me and blasted me with a shotgun, one shot kill. He saw fun, he stopped it with what I think were 6 other cop dots on my radar nearby over one shot. STOP INTERFERING WITH PVP COMBAT.

2) More bulding interiors. We need to be able to go into more buildings and take cover or fight for control of them.

3) Heists.

Well I guess not...but I'm not going to wait 6 hours for a steak I ordered two minutes ago either.

Personally I would have much rather they delay the game and release it with a decent amount of content...no mission unlocks past 80, wtf is that? How was I not going to get bored...and the fact still remains that I can jump on GTAIV Online and have a great time, somethingg I can't do on GTAV...the missions got boring and free roam is set up in such a way that keeping the player base entertained literally hinges upon releasing new content constantly, which in a persistant open world online multiplayer is frankly a retarded way of doing things...

GTA Online will always be stale within a month of every update because R* made it too limiting.

The High life update is bull. ONE more garage wtf is this?

We should be able to buy everything we want with no restriction whatsoever. R* keeps building a game with so many limits, you always hit a wall when things start to get REALLY fun.

I haven't touched it a month and just fell back into Planetside 2. They will release High Life (eventually....), then I'll buy some DLC cars that look great, then my "new" garage will be full so I'll mod the cars, then again have nothing to spend my money on and will just put it aside until the next "Big update".

Medium life, medium theft auto, medium property ownership, tens of millions of dollars to spend, nothing to spend them on, dozens of properties for sale with garages, can only own two.

GTA Online is just too limiting.

THIS! I was thinking the exact same thing. I'll fill up my garage within the week with my $6mil and then ill be bugging R* for another garage lol
Because for some people it does not matter what they give us it will never be enough. Exactly why Rockstar will deliver what they want, when they want.

I'm sorry to offend R*supporters but honestly, yes it isn't enough. I don't want to be grinding Rooftop Rumble all day to earn enough money to buy a Turismo ( for example) and then grind some more to buy a significantly overpriced paintjob (which I worth tha value of a decent real life car). If they made it a more enjoyable process instead of a chore, it would be enough for me.

Longevity.

Longevity = limiting people? Gamers have a notoriously short attention span, so I'm not sure about that. We'll see in the long run. But they received the relentless demands of people who wanted to have more garage space to build crazy collections of great rides, but instead of opening up the game to really make us want to play it through, they did this :

I think the High Life is nice, but I'm not THAT excited to play it simply because I know that in two weeks, I'll be back to square one, just trying to decide what car I need to get rid of. I f*cking hate doing this now, and I'll f*cking hate doing it later.

Why would I look forward to something I don't like, considering IRL if I had that money I'd have warehouses full of cars??? I don't want limits, that's why I play GTA. They act like they hear us but they drip drop the good stuff while we move on to other games....

It's simple : We should be able to buy everything we want with no restrictions whatsoever. The map is LITTERED with garages.

Longevity, in my case, doesn't mean begging for sh*t to happen and getting a drop on the tongue, it means looking at a HUGE goal and building towards it. ie Planetside 2, every upgrade requires serious focus, you need to make some decisions but in the end you CAN have it all.

Building towards condos and limited garage space will make me want to play for a week, maybe two at best.

Most GTA Online players own a condo with 10 cars, they've reached the end of the GTA Online MMO criminal empire.

That's pathetic my friend, don't you think?

Longevity, you're understanding it wrong. They HAVE the possibility to do it now and present us with huge possibilities and the option to build ridiculous collections of amazing cars that will keep growing and growing as the DLCs keep pouring out, but they choose not to.

That is exceptionally short sighted for a company that wants to keep players busy and interested in a long lasting MMO.

Wake up man.

The only support I offer R* is the 60 bucks I paid for the game. I am just as willing to call them out on freezing or tanks in freeroam or bad choices on verified tracks or passive mode being disfunctional. But I try to speak logical truth where I can and what I see is a company doing business and wanting the resulting income to last as long as possible. They are not there to hand us a gold bar...they will keep dangling nuggets in front of us until it stops making them a profit.

I get what you mean but still : R* has the possibility right now to change the game, but instead it's SOE who's doing it for me.............................it sucks because I wish I was busy buying warehouses and stashing them with cars in GTAO but alas, I already reached the pinacle of criminal life : A condo and a f*cking garage...............................................so I'm playing Planetside 2, two years after it came out, still loving it, still working on my character, equipment, and I haven't payed a dime for it, all of it is work and being able to stare at everything I want and STILL don't have.

In GTA:O I already have it all, and it's not enough to make me look forward to more :
