Online prices being lowerd & us basicly being forced to not buy Sharkcards because of said prices being stupidly high, R* releasing DLC on a regular basis like other devs, my veichles not vanishing from my garage, R* acualley helping you on a "help" ticket you send them instead of giving you some lame excuse for their mess up, not using stupid cloud servers, better mission money & the ability to have an enjoyable experience online because I'm finding that kinda hard to do at the moment...

I have yet to see a single good idea on these forums. Every single idea that is submitted (even though none of us work for Rockstar and therefore have no control over what they put into the game) is nothing but self-serving trash that the individual posting it is excited about at the moment. I call it the "jingle keys" effect. Basically the person posting the idea sees something on TV/Movie/YouTube video/other game and they think its cool. They then think "Hey! I currently think this is cool so it should go into GTAO because I also think that is cool!" so they run to the forums and tell everyone their idea. These people don't stop for a second to think about how their sh*tball of an idea could be logically applied to the game because the prevalent belief among young people today is "because fuck you I want it".

Scubadave has a barrage of ideas that are great. (Making something of Ifruit, mission creator, Custom freeroam, new mods for cars) and you call them all bad. That guy who thought of the sponsored race cars, did an extremely good job, and it's a great idea.

 

You know what I think? I think that you're just some jealous bloke, who has NO good ideas of his own, so has to resort to mocking others GOOD ideas, to make you feel like you're making a contribution to the forums. You're just jealous of the effort that they put into their ideas, and the good reception they receive, because you know that you'll never, ever be able to do anything anywhere near as good as they are.

~ a red haired girl wearing armor with cross on breastplate . she's has serious personality & master swordmanship . she has unknown additional armor/robe : metal wings , fireproof , waterproof , elastic robe , hakama & a armor only used to farewell ( but not actually used to fight ) . she's mad at me for having '' catepillar armor '' ( my tank ) . her weapon are : over 200 swords ( metal wings ) , a pole blade ( elastic robe ) , fire/water sword ( fire/water proof ) , katana ( hakama ) & a lance ( farewell )

I have to agree. There has been some great ideas on this forum. There have also been some terrible ones as well. That's the idea of a public forum though. We can't all be ground breaking philosophers on the verge of perfection that all we need to do is have R* listen. For every perfect omelet there are 100's of broken eggs. The only way we'll ever have that omelet is by being open to ideas.

 

The reality is there is no stupid ideas. There are ideas that we may ridiculously hate, but if you see what tracks get famous and end up being verified we have to understand that we may not be attached to the pulse that is making this game more successful. For instance, I would've called Jumps, Jumps, Jumps the stupidest race ever created, but look at the amount of play it got and it left with a decidedly positive rating.

 

There are much bigger problems in the GTA universe than a couple of bad ideas as well. We're still waiting on Heists and getting around freezing, etc. There is a decided rift in the community between glitching and legit. The reality is that we can't get half the players out of lobbies and it's gotten so bad they create events just so people will play Captures. At this point, ANY idea is one that should be considered.

I have seen a veritable parade of senseless ideas for things to add to GTAO on this forum. Everything from cricket to sponsored racecars to underwater bases. Its like the people on these forums see something shiney on tv and, without thinking first, say "Hey! That should be in GTA!". Then they practically break thier fingers as they rush to the forums to spew forth thier stupidity without giving it one second of thought as to HOW thier ideas could possibly be implemented. So they put it on here and we all groan because we can see that they are idiots even if they themselves dont see it.
