I can see it now... Two blocks away from the finish line, you're miles ahead, then suddenly. Out of nowhere.... PIT MANEUVER! "FFFFFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUU!" (Catch-up and the "bumper cars" mentality of most racers in GTA:O will make this mode a Hell for sure.)

If an audio file from Hao was the only source for this, it could just be something dropped from single player.

Racing for pinks would be 1 vs 1 anyways if it did happen.

I can see this being misused to transfer cars between players.

 

Plus, it is nothing for me to replace a fully modded car if I lost one (or gave it away ;-)

See, the problem with that is that in real life, pitting has consequences: either your opponent crashes and dies or you do. You're not tapping A/X to come back...

Here, there's no consequence, therefore I believe ghost racing should be enabled if you're going to bet your million dollar Adder...hell, even your fully modded Elegy cost you significant cash.

I think if you are racing for pink slips it should be impromptu races and winner can also opt to let the user keep their car because (limited garage space)

Nah after losing a pink slip race I can see this exploit happening.

 

Step 1 lose pink slip race

Step 2 turn off console to not allow a cloud save

Step 3 keep car when u log back on and other player gets a copy

Step 4 profit?????

Even if they were used to transfer cars over time the money glitches are just going to fade away, leaving people without a main source of income.

 

But with pink slips in the system, there's probably gonna be a duplication glitch so it's gonna need some time for development before it's published.

 

Also, I'd like to see bets for 10k-50k for excitement, or some sort of way I can gamble. Maybe the lottery tickets they talk about on the radio, or even BAWSAQ
