Do u stay away from high k/d ratio players in freeroam?

if i notice it is an oddly high number i take it as a warning sign of a physcopath....and stay clear of them, do you confront players with high k/d to find out why they are doing this or do you stay clear of them?

How do you "notice" they have a high k/d ratio? It's not flashing on their forehead!

Anyone taking the time to research stats on every player in free roam probably should not be calling anyone a Psychopath!

What is a high KD? I have kinda high KD myself (3+) but im nice to anyone unless they are hostile or have a bounty. I only use my tank against other tanks.

I usually hunt the highest in the session once I make sure they're not in their tank. I'd rather go after whoever has the highest unrealistic level.

Don't be scared of people with high kds. It's rare to come across a player that is as good as their kd says. Majority are either tank griefers or wall glitchers. As soon as you kill them a couple times they either get in their tank or will go to the nearest wall breach. Every time i see a high kd in a lobby I go and test them

out, and like I said they go passive to get there tank or go to a wallbreach.

My kd is 2.22 and ill tell you this; its high because ppl are stupid. I don't own a tank, toooo f*ckin lazy to steal jets, and I would get bored with wall glitches. I hate when scrubs try to tell me why my kd is high though. And from my experience the majority of online are bum ass scrubs that think GTA is the Sims.

But if you play regularly without griefing, no way you can kill people 1.5x more than they kill you.

It's actually fairly easy, you just have to play smart. Ofcourse, the Advanced Rifle is mandatory and having the Heavy Sniper helps too.

GRINCH ASS BITCH

Nah, I used to purposely hunt them.

I just logged online for the first time in 3 months and there was a guy going around killing people. I checked his stats and saw that he had a 14.00 k/d, so in my mind, target = acquired. He killed some random guy near the Swamp of Shame, then started coming towards me (I own the garage just north of Fort Zancudo) and then he suddenly stopped in the tunnel, paused the game, then sat there for like 30 seconds (I'm assuming he was checking my k/d). When he finally unpaused, I drove my car out of the garage and figured I'd try to hit him with the heavy sniper on his way up... then he promptly left the session.

Damn it. I wish I played on 360 so that I could follow these niggas.

K/D ratio does not equal skill level. Mines .42 and most of my deaths have been accidental(?) kills by friends........... I need new friends. Lol

Fail_At_GTA

I pick people with high K/Ds to go after because they might provide more of a challenge but sadly they do not because they lose their tanks so quickly and then they immediately leave the session or sit in passive mode forever.

My KD is 4.60 and i know it doesnt matter. I don't use tanks, just guns and skill. i usually kill people that shoot me and keep killing them untill they leave the game.

Total players killed 15,107 Total deaths by players 3,278

Based on your stats you fit the profile of a psychopath.

i dont bother checking people's k/d ratio, or even my own, it's meaningless.

I talked a friend through how to find the k/d stat in the pause menu. That represents the full amount of attention I have given the stat since day 1.

Why? Let's say I want to go head to head with someone, just for fun. I pick the one matching my k/d ratio. Or, I wanna troll someone wearing a headset so I bring up the player list and accidentally see his k/d. Or maybe I'm smoking a cigaret, and I check the other players out while I smoke.

So, you see, there are many ways to see someones k/d ratio.

All it means is they snipe/tank folk in freemode all day and come away with stuff like "It's the same as been in a deahmatch", no it ain't, I'm a well above average shooter and my K/Ds only 1.24 because I spend most my time in DMs/TDMs either shooting or getting shot of other good shooters that I've added to my friends list through lots of filtering the sh*te.

DeathByGenocide

K/D ratio means nothing, I had a K/D ratio of 6.4 for a long time.... why? I used the tank alot. I've only recently begun playing deathmatches, & when I started I was sh*t with a deathmatch K/D ratio of 0.83% despite having a freemode ratio of 6+

After a few weeks my deathmatch ratio is 1.78% but still a far cry from my 4.19% freemode ratio

My point being, my high K/D ratio doesn't make me worth avoiding.

What is considered "high"?

One would consider ones self to be high when one can no longer lift ones arm to wipe the crumbs of ones shirt

I don't pay attn to the KD when getting into a battle. I kill everyone equally. If I get my ass kicked then so be it. Targeting soft players is a sissy move IMO.

My KD is like 1.03 now. I took it up overtime from in the .70s or so with a lot of hard work and training. But now I gotta gain around 50 kills just to move up .01%. Pretty difficult compared to someone who has to gain 10-15 kills to move up .01....

I only avoid someone if they are in a tank, All it takes is for someone to fire a shot at my car and I will proceed to make them my next target no matter what.

What I wish I could check is if people care about their K/D ratio. Because those people should be avoided because they're probably gigantic bags of sh*t personality wise and actually take real pride and believe a high K/D ratio in GTA:Online is an accomplishment that puts them above other people.

Please...like a high k/d ratio is gonna stop me from killing them. When it comes to online i fear no one and a high k/d ratio doesn't always translate to being more skilled just as well as rank. Plus there are too many easy to boost a k/d ratio without getting killed like tank griefing, sniping, killing passive and paused players, and etc.
