Do u stay away from high k/d ratio players in freeroam?

My KD is 4.60 just skill. i usually kill people that shoot me and keep killing them until they leave the game.

That (idiot) I was up against, "Rinse Out" (XBOX) with the 24.35 K/D and rank 999, could actually only be a rank 10 but due to cheating, tank "grieving" etc, he may have gotten 487 kills with only 2 deaths.

In my experience, the high K/D players are just the ones who take every minute they play very seriously. My K/D is around 1.4 because I mess around a lot and take a lot of "accidental" deaths from my friends. I've been in games with guys with 3+ K/D's and never had trouble killing them repeatedly when I felt like it, and I know I'm not the only one. The high K/D players just seem to treat free roam like it's a deathmatch or are always in a tank. I ran into a crew of 6 with high K/D's who just all used tanks. When they finally stopped, my friend and I had our way with them, going like 35-15 (kills to deaths) before they quit.

I usually single them out to kill first in the lobby because I know their k/ds are most likely from sitting in a tank.

So what happens when they don't get their tank and just proceed to kill you on foot with their weapons? What do you then? Leme guess, that doesn't happen, right?

well i only check the players list to know who's the one talking on the mic, apart from that i never check people's kd ratio or any other info...

 

i just go out and kill everyone!

Never looked, don't care. Only thing I might do is push down on directional pad to see how many ppl in lobby and what levels they are so I know if I'm playing with a bunch of inexperienced players and who I might end up playing missions with

Anything higher than a 10.0 with thousands of kills yet only dozens of deaths is an instant no-no. Hacker or griefer for sure.

 

Having a 6.45 K/D yet with thousands of kills and deaths...I won't avoid; it just means the guy/gal is very hardcore at this game.

Nope, it's meaningless. If it's higher than 1.5 I immediately assume it's due to tank griefing. Mines at 1.37, no tank kills, and I'm proud of it. But if you play regularly without griefing, no way you can kill people 1.5x more than they kill you.

1.5 is where I average. I have been as high as 2.0 and as low as .9. I don't grief with tanks or jets. I think your numbers are low personally. Anyone higher than me in k/d, I never trust. Lol

 

Anyways on a side note.. I find it funny how most people brag about money, k/d, whatever... Yet rarely ever have a tag below to back up their comments.

Yes you can lol, mine's 2.03 and I've rarely ever griefed, and if I have it's only if I was started on by another person.

i disagree completely,maybe there is no way for YOU to be able to kill 1.5 more,but i certainly can and do,im a 2.60 on my profile and ive never kill anyone with a tank

That would be some bullsh*t. I have a 2.77 and i only fire if fired on. Most of the mentally unhinged shoot on sight players have tiny little negative K/Ds.

I avoid all white dots. But when I hear explosions (which is about 80% of the time), sometimes I go passive and go check it out. Other times I just switch lobbies or make it a personal challenge to try to get to LSC just for the adrenaline rush. That's GTA0. Vera deep game. Much subtle, sublime and complex. NOT

A lot of them are the kind of twats that will camp out mission despawn points, camp LSCs, wall glitch, try to farm low level players by spawn killing them in a car. So they don't deserve and recognition let alone avoidance. I've never checked the stats of anyone I'm in a lobby with. A player who is skilled and dangerous(relative to your own ability) you will know about 5 seconds into the firefight and that's definitive, unlike a K/D ratio that can be obtained without real skill. And it's those people who devalue the K/D ratio as a stat. A player with a massive K/D ratio can just as easily be a mission spawn camper, a wall glitcher, invincibility glitcher, someone who farms afk players or ambushes shoppers.

 

The only way to know for sure is to play against them. When you're getting headshot by a player from a block away with a pistol and he's sidestepping your return fire, it doesn't matter what their k/d ratio is, you know they're a problem

No, I don't. Guess it never occurs to me to check their profile. It's pretty much just, "Is (blank) f*cking with me? Time to f*ck with them back." I really only go so far as to see what their gamertag is so I know who to highlight for revenge; 'cause as I've said a million times before. You attack and kill me unprovoked, then I'm going to kill you like 5 times in return in any way possible and make sure the score is is 1/5 or something higher.

Yeah i've hardly ever used my Tank and mines 2.4 with over 3,500 pk's. It was about 1.3 in my early career with a sawn off and a pistol but the tide changes. Heavy sniper beasts..that said K/D is meaningless unless you play tonnes of deathmatch. It's just an indicator of how much you like to piss off others really. In my case that's quite frequently...

Most of the lobbies I join have a kd between .50 -1.70

I hardly ever see kd's in the 2.0's let alone a 3 or higher. I think anything higher than a 4 is tank/garage killer

 

im legit as can be, have had a few rub ins with tank spawn killers so got my tank to spawn kill them, but that hardly pushes your ratio up and we all know once u start spawn killing a tanker they leave very quickly.

Sad thing is I was modding colors my duped cars on lvl 2 character all the time someone was runing me over or trying to kill me, When im on my first character whats 74lvl no one ever trying to troll me or something, poor low lvls. Good enough i ranked up to 74 in 1month

Suck players apparently think that If they can't be good, neither can anyone else without playing cheap or cheating.

There are often sessions I don't even die. That's because I know how to play the game; If I didn't, I probably wouldn't play the game.

GTA V has been out for 8 months, that's plenty of time for anyone with a brain to adapt proper do's and don'ts in free roam.

 

As for the k/d stat being "useless", I disagree. The guy with the 1.5 tends to know how to use snacks more effectively then the guy with the .15

 

On topic: No, I don't avoid high kdr players. 75% of the lobbies I join are filled with players who have a negative k/d anyway.
