I have had some pretty amazing sniper kills in my day, most of which were luck.

 

Once I was chasing down 4 players in one car in the mountains. I suicide crash landed a chopper killing all of them. I respawned on a hill fairly far from them and starting chasing them down again. They stole a ped car and started to take off. Just as they were turning a corner to go out of sight I sniped the driver, which send the vehicle off a cliff killing everyone.

 

Even they thought it was pretty awesome lol

Usually I snipe like a 1 eyed parkinsons sufferer, but just ocasionally I seem to get it spot on.

 

The other night I sniped someone out of a buzzard as they turned, got that on vid so sorting one out in a couple of days, and my other good one was from the roof of Weazel Plaza, got a guy in his car (from behind) who was parked outside Michael's house.

Once, i was chasing after a player with a $9,000 bounty and he ran into the L.S. Airport. I went on-top of the one building when you first get into the airport through the stunt jump (the building on the right) and i pulled out my advanced sniper-rifle. He got onto a plane and began to take off. When he did, he did a knife flight in mid air and then i sniped him out of his plane and watched it crash into the ground. He rage quit immediately. It was the best $9,000 i ever made.

 

Another time, I was going to grove st. to take some pictures of the gangs. While on my way, a player got a $9,000 for stealing a car. I gunned him out and collected the bounty, then i went on my way to grove st. I couldn't find any good groups of them so i decided to refill on my snacks and wait for some new ones to re-spawn. After i went outside and walked to my car, i got sniped before i could get in. (I guess the guy was mad because i killed him for the bounty) After i re-spawned, he tried to fly away in a buzzard. I sniped him out and went straight into passive mode. ;-)

 

One other time, their was two players who both had $9,000 bounties. They were camping on-top of a roof and were killing players that were below. I went to the airport and got into a maverick and went off of the radar. I landed my maverick on-top of a higher building. i sniped both of them for a good $18,000.

I'm not great with the heavy sniper at relatively close range. But I have gotten lucky a few times with folks out of draw distance. I was even tank sniping in the very early days with the regular sniper. But my favorite was claiming a bounty just after I first got the heavy sniper.

 

I was in the general area of the white circle below, and the bounty was sniping folks from the roof of Maze Bank. I stopped on the road to see what I could, and certainly the actual bounty wasn't rendered. But I could just make out the shape of his helicopter! So I set about sniping just under his rotor. After about 5 or 6 shots, the helicopter blew up and, luckily, took the bounty out with it, awarding me the kill.

 

I then drove a little ways up to road to send the player a "holy sh*t, I can't believe I made that shot" message. But my message sending was interrupted when said player auto shotty'd me to death as revenge. We both then went our separate ways after that.

I was ontop of the IAA building, someone JUST took off from the hospital in a buzzard, sniped them out of the buzzard. Got a message from them saying I was reported for cheating, because nobody can snipe that far

I was standing in front of my Tinsel apartment, and there was a dot way down the road to the West. It was very near the edge of my extended map, not quite as far as the Ammunation.

 

He wasn't even visible. Just a hunch that the only vehicle showing up that far away was his, and a lucky guess that he was sitting in it. Easy shot, really, but I was pretty surprised after the one shot. He left immediately after, so there was two of us surprised there. lol

My ultimate best-ever sniper kill was with the regular sniper - my buddy and I were standing on the top of the radio tower hill above the VINEWOOD sign. Couple guys rolled into Madrazo's compound after a crate drop and started a shootout. I picked off one of them while he was standing on top of the barn behind Madrazo's house. I couldn't actually see his as he was too far away to render, but it was, however, rendering the tracers from his AR. I followed them back to their origin, took a literal shot in the dark and one-shot-killed him. Couldn't believe it. Other guy got away though...

Shot a guy in a helicopter like half the map away.

 

I've no idea exactly how far it was, but I was stood at Trevor's airfield, and he was near the army base.

I was in downtown Los Santos, and was off the radar (I had just taken out a bounty) and I saw a couple of guys in an Entity backing up while shooting another player. Since they didn't see me, I waited until they got to me (I was in an alley, the guy they were shooting at was hiding behind a car trying to shoot back) and fired at the passenger, hoping to even the odds for the guy. But the shot must have went through the first guy, and took out the driver as well. The guy that was taking cover ran over, gave me a salute in thanks, and threw a sticky on their car and ran off to hide. I assume he was going to blow them up when they made it back to their car, but only heard the boom, but no names came up, so maybe he just wanted to take out their car instead. I'm not sure, by that time I had made my way down the ally to my car and was on my merry way.

I sniped someone on top of a building extremely far away. I couldn't see his name or even the details of the building, but for some reason I still shot him through the wall.

Another time I remember I was standing atop the Lumber Mill chimney in Paleto Forest when I saw a car with 3 people drive up Mt. Chilliad quite far away.

 

They were wanted and got rammed off the side so the car started tumbling down. I started shooting the car and on my 4th shot I actually managed to kill someone and mind you the car was going down fast, bouncing all over the place performing rolls etc.

I accidently sniped a dude out of his jet awhile back, i was trying to aim just for the jet and actually hit him, he was coming in for a cannon-run, straight forward.

I was extremely surprised and proud of myself for like 5 minutes.

I've sniped people out of titans, took many tries to get the window and then I got the kill, he was flying towards Rockford lsc and I was on top of tinsel towers trying to snipe people around lsc. He was trying to kamikaze the players outside lsc, but I got him and his plane ended up crashing short of lsc. Another shot I got was a collateral on. I was aiming at one player then the other walked into my line of sight and I shot both players. Shame the draw distance is rubbish so you can only kill players on foot at medium range.

I shot my buddy off the front of the train. He was so far away that I could barely see the train and couldnt see him. Took the shot and it hit him. And I shot a troll trying to swim to an island. Couldn't see him either but when I zoomed in I could hear someone swimming and the dot on the map lined up so I took the shot and it got him. Even he couldnt believe it

My best sniper shot was with an RPG. Blew up a twanker traveling almost perpendicular to me. Led the shot by a mile, all he had to do was look a little to his left and he'd see it coming; maybe he did but was so entranced by it he couldn't stop himself. Perfect collision trajectory. Tank blew up, twanker spawned already in passive and quit the session 5 seconds later. Beaut.

 

As for with a sniper rifle... meh, moving car head shots, moving chopper head shots, moving plane head shots, two for one's, a three for one... *yahhhwwwwnnn*
