^ true but even with the dumbed down car mechanic, people still can't drive without crashing something.

 

i know i do too at times because i get complacent and simply won't care if/what i hit, be it poles peds cars players.

 

but hell, i rarelly see anyone remember you CAN'T speed at all on that curve for the airport exit on the freeway, i'm sure we all know which one exactly, everyone will fall there even if once.

 

but lead any player there who chases you and watch them get to know that curve the hard way.

Exactly my point. Now I would of preferred the Mafia 2 driving mechanic over 5, but I still like 5. But they made it easier to drive and kids STILL can't seem to know what the brakes do. Maybe they are the guys who say that you can do a 90 degree turn without slowing down, or they are just horrible at driving in general.

A lot of people with high K/D are trolls who either exploit glitches, hang around with crewmates or use a tank/jet to get easy kills.

 

There is no such thing as easy kills with a jet.

There's something that's been really bugging me lately whenever I play online. First I want to say that I mostly like playing in a co-operative manner, I guess you could say that I'm a team player. I don't care about k/d ratios, or bragging rights, etc.. I like clean races, even teams, and I love playing co-op missions. But that's where everything seems to fall short for some reason, there is a real lack of skill when it comes to doing things along with other people.

 

I see players in the triple digits that still don't know how to do certain missions, or completely screw them up all together. I've also had people steal my car, bike, or helicopter, and sometimes had them destroyed. I've been run over, blown up, and sabotaged more ways than I can count.

 

Rooftop rumble seems to be the only mission that anyone wants to play anymore, so anytime I join a random I end up there 4 out of 5 times. And even though its the most popular mission by far right now, some jack wagon inevitably finds a way to screw it up. What the hell man? Where are all of the skilled players? What the hell is everyone gonna do when the heist update drops? I hope there's more of a team minded community once everyone realizes there's good money to be made with a little bit of work.

Meh, sometimes you have an off day/mission...whatever.

I use Quick Match 99.999% of the time and I am never shocked when a teammate is Rank 200+ with a 2.75 K/D ratio and yet they don't realize that in the mission Extraction....you have to move the vehicles from in front of the hanger the planes are in....I literally saw a teammate try and pull out with the plane when a truck was clearly in the way.

Now okay maybe he thought, "I'll just push the truck out of the way" but risking damage to the plane is f*cking dumb!!

Needless to say they broke the plane and we failed the mission. Once we got back in the lobbies and teammates were asking...what happened? How did we fail....I was like...the dumb fukc on our team didn't bother to pull the vehicles away from in front of the hangar and the plane was damaged.

It's a VIDEO GAME. There is no such thing as skill. There is never skill involved with video games. Get outside and do something active and you will see how a video game requires no skill.

 

Games like Counter-Strike, Street Fighter. Quake and leagues like the CPL, CEVO & plenty of others would like a word with you...

 

Also, try playing Online in Free-Aim...

The whole DM he was saying "where are the other teams players?"

I say to him..."dood,youre level 106 and you dont know how to call Lester?"

 

He says "f**k off"

 

he killed 5 and was killed 19 times...cost us the DM

Then he sends me a friend request...classic

Whats funny is R* has a great system in place with "Job points" but it's not being utilized properly in my opinion. Rumor has it that heists will cost 100 job points, so why not do this for the harder/ higher missions that are there already. Say make it 30JP to join rooftop rumble, seems legit to me...

I think the problem is most people don't care about teamwork at all and do care about K/D ratios and scoreboards

so they all just race to the objective and try to get the most kills or carry the objective

it's in this mass confusion and dash for glory that people tend to mess up.

lol. doesnt happen to me because my friends list is 99 (about 50% have been offline forever) + 1 pending im not gonna accept, so randoms dont friend request

I tested the phone Quick Join Contact Mission last night because I also like playing co-op style.....11 in a row for Rooftop (backed out each time) before I got something else. It's a pain in the ass.

Sometimes when I play RR, I just run straight into the parking garage with a broken bottle to see how that plays out because I don't give any sh*ts about that mission or the people playing it.

 

Hardly anyone knows how to play as a team if they're just randoms. I'll get lucky once in a while though and it's a beautiful change.

Actually, you can run in the garage, pistol whip all the npcs and be done in like 10 seconds without them firing a shot at you.

 

I tried that. One of the guys dropped their guns on their guns on the floor causing it to shoot and then everybody whipped out their guns and i was dead in three seconds.

I don't get passive mode anyways, why not just make passive lobbies instead?

 

Just go to an Invite only Lobby, it will be the same thing.

 

If R* made Passive lobbies you'd be in it alone 99% of the time!

You must realize you are dealing with pre-teens in about 70% of the community. Entitled pre-teens with an IQ less than their shoe size and the attention span of a mentally challenged chimp.
