Why does nobody play golf, tennis, darts, or shooting range?

only did darts once, golf is pretty fun when you're drunk and chilling with friends

im a tryhard at tennis haha

I feel the same, and thanks to the poor match making that only selectively invites, i've been playing gta online since it opened and still not ONE single game of darts or shooting range against anyone.

 

have managed to get a few people to play golf on lucky occasions, but 2/3 if not all of them leave by the 3rd hole. Only played tennis once and will never again since either i suck, or there was horrible lag compensation and it literally was impossible to properly hit the ball back to your opponent..

some players like a change in pace compared to constant repetative missions, poorly made unavoidable custom races with catchup rammer griefers, and pistol only deathmatches on huge maps.

 

golf is rather fun, and funny to watch other players who don't know how to play it well f*ck up their shots. there's something fun and unique about each of these under appreciated activities, it's just probably the kids and teenagers who don't know how to appreciate it and let a round play out if it isn't leaning in their favor.

Golf's actually pretty fun (...particularly if you're the sort of nerd who used to enjoy all those PC golf sims that came out back in the mid-'90s...) - plus a full 9 holes gets you quick, easy, decent RP. Or just play single-hole games, if you want to power-level your Strength stats...

If we could actually drive the golf carts when playing golf, my amount of players ran over would be in the six figures and I'd actually play golf. My real problem is it's empty when I try to get a game going and none of my friends will play it because they'd rather faff around in free roam and play Rooftop Rumble with their rank 100 friend (that's me) since they're too low level to start it.

golf is boring in real life let alone in game, takes ages to complete with 4 people with 9 holes. You end up spectating more than your actually playing so I don't blame anyone for quitting.

I love playing golf in MP.

I just wish this activity would be also available everywhere else, apart from the range. Like, across Blaine County, Los Santos, industrial landscapes, with holes in the ground, windows, roofs, cars and NPCs as targets. But i already mentioned that at least two times somewhere else.

 

As for the darts, it could be added some variety, if the loser/winner takes a drink, thus making the crosshair drift away faster/jitter less. More points, more drinks, more blurred tunnel vision.

 

Target range should be also available in the open and the heavy weapons shouldn't be restricted only to minigun and only one direction. I will enjoy this immensely, when i get my hands on a mouse converter.
