Vince Neil had a pretty bad car crash in the 80's He crashed into a car and seriously injured the people in the car. Think they ended up with brain damage. He also managed to kill one of the dudes from Hanoi Rocks, who was in the car with him at the same time.

 

Not sure what the exact sentence was but it was nothing more than a month at most in jail and having to pay a sh*t load of compensation.

 

He basically got away with manslaughter, even though he was blind drunk. The fact that he was also in one of the biggest rock (lol) bands of the 80's, probably saved his butt from being imprisoned

 

Heard about that but honestly, I just like the song and it's perfect for GTA.

Fair enough. It just irks me when people throw comments out about genres without any knowledge or interest in it. I detest most pop but only because I've heard enough of it to confidently say I think it's sh*t.

Ok, my opinion is not just based on their music but because i knew a couple of them, so my opinion is kinda biased. Although the main guy's were Aussies, they were based in the UK and lived near me. They used to write and do their initial live rehearsals at my mate studio, where we were working too

Totally, off the subject, i used to buy the best weed off one of them lol

Basically an extreme form of thrash metal, with melody being replaced by intensity. It's typically associated with growling vocals but I prefer a more raspy shriek ala Chuck from Death.

 

The most popular band is Cannibal Corpse who are a typical death metal band and embody what the genre is typically about. I've seen them live and have a couple albums but they're not my thing, and they are far far away from being the best death metal band imo.

 

There's a bunch of sub-sub genres I won't go into. My favourite DM album is Leprosy by Death, but it's an acquired taste and nigh on impossible to get into without having a taste for metal in the first place.

 

Lyrically it's about anything but typically death.

Sorry for the quote wall, but I'm mobile and can't be assed to delete the other quotes, but NiN is more suited to me for massacres and the closest songs to a good race are perfect drug and getting smaller. Although I used to race a Sim game to hyperpower and capital gains a long time ago.
