Go to the golf course and drive around using cinematic mode. Hilarous when the cops try to catch you after mowing over 4 or 5 unsuspecting golfers. Just be prepared to sink a few vehicles in the water hazards and also for other gamers to come check out what the heck you are doing. I guess people get curious when you're laughing so hard you can hardly breathe in chat

Nope, I don't kill people with it. I don't destroy PVs. Just hit them with the gun a few times.If they're a good sport about it (not freaking out over the mic) I leave them alone after a few whacks.

I think you would of gotten better responses if you made your topic a question, "What do you do when bored?". You'll get the typical, "jack off" but for the most part you'll get genuine ideas to do.

 

I'll add to this topic seeing you're upset by the responses:

 

When in a public lobby (works best in freeaim as people don't always try to kill you there but it doesn't really matter once inside an apartment, just go in passive mode to avoid those garage killers if they're still around), wait to get invited to an apartment. Join, then go to garage and take pictures of their cars, judging them via your mic. Tell the guy/girl how ugly his car is, do a car review of it, ask if you can drive it, tell him you'll feature it on the cover of sh*tty Cars Magazine. Drink beers in his garage, litter the floor with bottles, watch TV, call a mugger on him if he exits his own garage, watch him get mugged via his own TV in the garage, block the door to his apartment so he can't leave, when you walk in the apartment look at the decor and ask him when his boyfriend will be back, put East Los FM on his radio, smoke in his face, take selfies with him.

 

There's so much you can do that's fun and that won't get you killed or cost you any money (much - mugger and beers).

I enjoy this as well. If any random invites me to their apartment I accept. Then go in and usually drink their whisky untill I pass out or try and steal a car from their garage. Its funny how many people will leave their car access open. I usually get about half way down the street before being booted. I then clean the car with petrol and call my car in for the final touch. I will have to try your other suggestions too.

I like to cargo bob my Surfer to a high place and drive off. Chiliad is fun. Most recently I drove it off the maze bank tower, unarmored. Drove away at the bottom, no structural damage, $383 repair bill.

I find a cargo-bob, pick up random cars off the street and dump them in the ocean. Karma for all the times they cut me off in traffic or flipped me the bird.

When I'm I tend to act like a dick, get cargobob and chuck personal vehicles into the ocean, grab a Jet and kill everyone, prop myself on a roof with my piss jar and shoot players, etc.

There's also the boring-bored stuff like when you're really bored, you resort to doing boring stuff. My favorite is to get a helicopter from the hospital near the impound lot, get on the roof of the hospital and camp there while looking over the impound lot with a sniper. You'll see a car appear and unless the guy lets his car be destroyed and calls Mors Mutual like someone smart would do (unless he lost a car by doing that like I have so I go get it myself now), you'll see a guy go get his car. He'll usually hop the fence and steal it back but some wait at the gate to pay a fee to get in to go get their car. So make yourself off the radar (timing must be right and the guy must be an idiot, he probably didn't look at the map for anyone near before coming there) and snipe him. My favorite responses are, "are you serious?!" Always makes me laugh. But that's trolling.

A fun one is to get a friend (or if lucky, a random) to take a Cargobob, take you in a car to the sky and drop you. You can get tons of spinning awards for that. Or get a boat and drop you over the deeper part of the ocean. Your boat will be a submarine and then pop out the water. Or hook a submarine (at the Merryweather dock) and drop it in a pool or the alamo sea (near Sandy Shore), drop it in front of the 400K building, get a friend and see if you can spawn another one and see how many can spawn and stack them like legos.

Find a car meet on the forum and make sure it's an offroad one and take a mini cooper to it.

I can't think of any more. I prefer trolling to pass the time. Not griefing (making people rage), I only like to annoy people or make them laugh with my cunning/stupid things.

It's amazing how boring GTA V got for me where I would find new stuff to do. You know in GTA IV where if you were bored you either went to the airport to go car flips over planes or you went to that motorcycle shop and did the whole jump over highway and then jump the river thing? GTA V has the same thing: the train. If you're bored, you go for the train. There's nothing else to do! It's such an empty world. The airport needs ramps and a better way to get into it (that stupid jump over the gate annoys me). It would be such a popular spot to hang out.

lately when i get bored i go into passive and hang out in one of the LSC's. i find it amusing to see people pull into the shop and see me just standing there on a work bench. some turn and run others seem to not even notice me. seems like when they first roll up to the door that the barrels i knocked over and rolled outside would let them know something is going on, but nope they usually drive right in. once and a while someone will shoot the LSC mechanic making it close, but you can still hang out in there. to me funniest thing is when it is closed, but they do not see or realize it is closed and drive in anyway. kinda funny to watch them come crashing into the shop, because they most likely are expecting to stop like normal when entering LSC. kind of like this bounty did just a while ago.
