Console Glitch GREATNESS!

When it happened to me I thought the world had frozen, then I realised it was just gta online.

I am on PS3 and run into this NUMEROUS times every time I am Online. Last night it happened 3 times in 1 hour, and I couldn't get back on after the 3rd one.

I want proof that it happens to anyone so much as to deem it excessive.

I can only speak from personal experience and that of my friends/crew.

 

Doesn't happen to everybody but it has happened to the majority. It happens to me literally every other day at best and sometimes multiple times per session.

 

Having discussed this with many, the problem occurs on PS3, XBox, PC. It occurs with physical copies and digital. It occurs after clearing cache, restarting, changing settings and it also goes away after taking those very same steps.

 

For *me*, it happens all the damn time.

 

If you check the poll it is obvious it happens to others with some frequency as well.

 

Now stop trolling me every time I try to talk about this issue. Yeah, we get it, am30 has NEVER experienced this! There, you have been validated!

It's not the worst glitch i have experienced (see Test Drive Unlimited 2) and I rarely experience it. I feel sorry for those who do experience it often, it used to happen to me a lot when playing in public with my crew, but now i go to private modes it usually never happens. The worst thing about it is the fact that you have to load up the game again, which takes an awful amount of time.

 

The best thing is related to the controller choice actually, as my mic runs out of charge really quickly so it saves charge whenever it does happen :p.

I never take my disc out either, lol. I'm guessing it happens more or less depending on where you live. I read another post where a user from the UK never had freezing issues, either. I get one or two over an 6-8 hour session. At first i thought my console was getting too hot, but then I came to the GTA Forums........

I have only had one freeze since 1.12 came out. And I play quite a lot; because my girlfriend also plays on my account... about 30 to 40 hours a week GTA Online...

Haha I'm really from Holland. Den Haag, South Holland. Do people from other parts of the Netherlands really not like it when you refer to the whole country as Holland? I thought you guys did that too. I've never heard people cheering for "Nederland" in the world/euro cup, always seems to be "Holland".

That exercise is nice. 2 nights ago I played GTA Online for the entire night (12 hours straight) with a good friend of mine. My console actually didn't freeze at all during that time and I was in the same session. I needed my console to freeze so I could burn those 1.5 calories on my way to the console and back. Rockstar is trying to make me fat.

OP should make all polls for every topic in the future. Too many biased polls going around, this is how you do an un-biased, totally looking at both sides of the story kind of poll. I feel the OP is one at heart who wants the best for us and would clearly not mislead us when times are so dark. Shine your light on the path we must follow to the river, OP, for we are thirsty for justice! We demand an explaination for this freeze that you speak of. Why are thou freezing when thy weather is warm?

I think the best thing is when the freezes make it so you're controller vibrates until you turn it off.
