What weapon do you use the most in combat?

Ap pistol, heavy sniper and minigun. I really should start playing in free aim since I never use auto aim.

carbine rifle.. but when sh*t gets heated i bust out the special carbine. like when all the other players die in survival mode and its still early in the wave. tear gas can be really helpful too.

 

the ap pistol is a must for me while driving. i just wish we had a way to aim the guns out the windows instead of them automatically shooting

 

(and sometimes im sneaky with the sticky bomb placement)

Try Magpul PDR. P90's have magazines on the top of the gun, not at the back. + the Advanced SMG has a rifle magazine, P90 uses pistol rounds

According to the wiki the clip is fitted to the top of the gun and is called the "Assault SMG" so im sure you can see where im getting things mixed up!

I'm suprised so many people use the advanced rifle over the carbine. The carbine has to be unlocked and has better range, a level 3 can use the advance rifle why would anyone think it would be better than a level locked gun.

Generally I try to use the Heavy Pistol and Heavy Sniper. If I need to take someone out at mid-range I'll use the Advanced Rifle.

Used to use the Desert Eagle (Flashlight, Suppressor, Black), SNS Pistol (Black), Bullpup Shotgun (Grip, Flashlight, Suppressor, Black), and Micro SMG (Flashlight, Scope, Suppressor, Extended Clip, Black). Dumped them so I can get to other weapons faster. Will get the SNS and Desert Eagle again when they fix that annoying Extended Clip glitch!!!!! (Extended Clip doesn't look good on the SNS Pistol, or Desert Eagle)

The heavy pistol, special carbine, and heavy sniper are my favorite weapons to use in a variety of situations, I try to shy away from explosives unless my opponent is using them against me.

Advanced rifle unlocks at level 70. You're thinking of the special carbine.

Of course sometimes sniper is needed, but very situation specific. I have recently developed a taste however, for using the shotgun while riding a 'chopper style bike, a la Arnie in T2

Ideally:

Close range = assault shotgun

Medium to close range = ap pistol

Medium to long range = combat mg

Long Range = sniper

Like others have said, sometimes I just "spin the wheel" so to speak. The special carbine is nice, but you spend a great deal of time reloading. Combat mg goes forever on a 200 round clip. Ap pistol is a beast, actually use it quite a bit on survival with success.

According to my stats on SC, it's the Sniper Rifle.

 

Sounds about right. I'm not one for driving right up to someone and shooting them. I'll just get some high ground and snipe. Makes sense.
