Are the Rocoto's brakes really that bad?

I was watching a Youtube video where someone was customizing the Rocoto and noticed that even when fully upgraded, the brakes stat doesn't even fill a single stat bar (out of the 5 that are there). Are the Rocoto's brakes as bad as the stats say they are?

I didn't really get a chance to test for myself since the Rocoto seems to be a rare spawn for me in both single player and multiplayer.

Here's the video I was watching (notice the low brake stat):

They could do with being better, used to have one on SP and it's very easy to rear end another car from going too quick.

It's amazing how rare that one is and how bad it is at the same time. I've got one because I've got the other two Obey cars in the game and wanted to complete the set, but it's a bad entry in a bad class of vehicles.

Jup, the brakes on the Rocoto are horrible. Even the Patriot brakes better than that thing..

The first time I drove one to LSC to sell, and every ensuing time since, I've thought the same thing: "Holy buttf*©k, these brakes are bad."

I wish it was better, i think it's a cool looking little car and have stolen two of them, only to decide it's each time after wasting money souping them up that they lack mods and abilities...i wish the little suvs in the game were better.

Yep, only small SUV I would drive on a regular basis would be the Benefactor Serrano.

Shame because the Rocoto ain't too bad, just the brakes (or lack of) that let it down. That and limited customisation options. :(

Control, that's all you need to use any car

Beat me to the punch. Luckily its agile enough for an SUV to be able to fly without the lack of good breaks being an issue
