Should The New Bullpup Rifle be level locked

Maybe at 50 or so, but the match making is, a bit messed up, it seems to go by level instead of skill so it's good the low levels have some firepower as well.

You sure? Because not to brag or anything, but in TDMS and whatnot, I always manage to average out at over 20 kills, and under 10 deaths.

You do need to grind unless you play the game 24/7. I don't have the time to play that much, that's why just playing normally I'm just hitting level 100 this week.

Having to work for weapons doesn't make me appreciate them, it annoys me because me and my friends can't do what we want to do in freeroam without spending 7 months playing a game that was marketed as an open game that allows you to do whatever you want to do.

I could almost understand unlocking the use of starting with weapons in deathmatches, but locking them in freeroam? That's just **** design for a GTA game.

Oh, I'm sorry you and your friends aren't able to dick around without playing objectively. I guess you guys must believe that the janitor should receive founding chairman benefits because he doesn't have time to work neither.

I barely made it past 120 last week...I should be at least a 200+ but because I stopped caring about rank at lvl 40 I took much longer, and look at that; I can have everything (weapon tints, clothes, vehicles) I want now, and I didn't have to grind RR/Coveted to get there.

It does let you do whatever you want; however, there's a fine line between freedom & anarchy...

...what? Locking them in deathmatches is stupid. No one under 100 would play them. The only reason you post this idea is because you probably don't play them yourself & spend most of your time molesting others in FR.

If anything, they should be more restrained in FR...but luckily the cops kinda help level that out. Bless the LSPD.

Bullsh*t design for a GTA game? GTA is not a FR death match; it's a car related felony street crime game; people saying "It's GTA; I should do whatever I want" are probably the same people who just jumped on the bandwagon and only wreak destruction as opposed to actually doing the missions and playing as intended. GTA is not a sandbox; it's open world. If you want to do a sandbox to do whatever you want, go play Garry's Mod.

Make a second character, and start again. If you have a second character at 120...delete it, start a new character and begin again.

IF you REALLY feel that way.

That doesn't really mean anything.

The guy already worked for it once...why exactly should he worked for it again? Hell, some people don't even want to do it once...

Maybe at 50 or so, but the match making is, a bit messed up, it seems to go by level instead of skill so it's good the low levels have some firepower as well.

It bases it's choices on rank & K/D...

The problem is that a lot of K/D's are generally lies, so that rank 450 with a 5.0 K/D isn't as dangerous as his stats make him to be...and any legit players end up paying the tab.

So I can't blame R* as much as I blame player's ineptness.

No. No reason to lock items just for the sake of locking them. Also, it's hilarious how many people in this thread think they've earned something because they've played the game for x number of hours.

That's odd, because I'm pretty sure I've earned all of my items through playing the game.

Low level players have played the game too, so what have you done that's different or special that a new weapon should be rank locked and unavailable to a low level player?

The Special Carbine should be 10 levels higher than the Advanced Rifle, and the Bullpup 10 levels higher than that.

I have played the game longer than them. Do I not deserve reward for playing and leveling up? We might as well unlock the minigun and RPG for low levels since leveling up appears to be for nothing Edited by AwesomeJokeGTA

Imagine what a clusterf*ck this game would've been if level ones had mini-guns? *shudder*

That said, DLC should be available to everyone. But some things like mini-guns, tanks and buzzards...should be earned by leveling.

What's the point? Its the same experience over again and nothing new.

The point is everything would be locked again. You said you were tired of everything being unlocked. Not that you wanted new things to unlock.

I think everyone is interested in new things being introduced to the game, but that wasn't your argument.

Because I assumed people would he smart enough to know that restarting the exact same thing wasn't in my plans. If IRL I have had a black '08 Camaro a since '08 and I get tired of driving it and want another car, I'm not about to go buy another black '08 camaro simply because even though its the same thing, its a different car from the one I had. Wanting to experience unlocking things again =/= experiencing redundant situations again. Its like a movie. Even though its my favorite movie, it doesn't mean I have to rewatch it. It won't be the same new experience anymore, and I already know what's gonna happen. So I'd rather see a sequel. Edited by R3N3GAUG316

The fact that the only thing you believe someone can do inside a free roam open world is just kill random people just goes to show how much of a casual gamer you really are.

Have fun doing nothing but grinding to unlock a new skin and gun. I have no time to argue with people who throw a temper tantrum and baseless accusations at those who disagree.

Then say that. Don't say in a thread about locking and unlocking content (from lower levels), that "I'm bored with everything being unlocked", then assume everyone should know what you mean. Has nothing to do with intelligence, but clearness of your message to a wider audience.

As I said, no one will argue they don't want more new content. The argument in this thread was about locking out access to lower levels.

Odd, you're doing the exact same thing I'm doing, only for a different side. No reason to get uppity and superior about it.

Yes, lock that Chinese Type-95 Bullpup Rifle and make the tints kill rewards like the original weapons.

It would be a good unlock for the 110 rank if it's powerful enough.

Agreed all high powered weapons should be unlocked at a certian rank like the Tommy Gun, Special Carbine & Heavy Pistol...

We had to work to unlock all of our heavy weapons before they came out so why shouldn't the low level players have to do the same?
