i posted this question in the Q/A thread already, but it seems that thread isn't all that active, and since i'm completely blocked without an answer to this question i created this thread. please just lock if this is unacceptable. so, here it goes:

i am currently trying to create a bike downhill race. problem is, i can't place the trigger on top of the mountain i want to use.

so my question is; is there any way to place a trigger in places the game refuses to accept as trigger locations because "the ground isn't level" or "the area isn't clear"?

the quicker i get an answer, the better. i really want to make this race, got a great trail picked out, and i'm completely stuck atm because of this problem. thanks in advance.

place trigger somewhere else first, then stack some props on the mountaintop if you can to make a level area, and place the trigger on top of those if possible. Just a suggestion, I have no idea if it works...

Your gonna have same problem with start grid. Learn to stack props and place things where they dont belong in the threads below this one.

Are you talking about Chiliad? I made a deathmatch on the peak and looked for a while but couldn't find anywhere to put the trigger so I (hesitantly) put it in the lift shed at first. After so many sessions in free roam I realized how much it got in the way in there and I decided it just wasn't going to work, but also realized that because my deathmatch took place on the peak that I wanted it to be as close as possible.

After going back to the creator and spending a few more minutes I was finally able to find a gap on the trail just big enough and one that didn't really get in the way, so I was able to move it. The Frogger is parked right on top of the trigger. The method I use for placing things in tight spots is to just move keep moving the cursor around in circles until you it lights up, then just keep spamming the place button until it puts it where you want it. It may take a couple tries to get it how you want it but I've managed to put things in some pretty crazy places using that method.

nah, chiliad took me just a couple of minutes to find a spot. Mount Josiah is the one where i was trying to place a trigger.

@Luap and Fachuro i tried stacking, but it wouldn't allow me to put the trigger on top. maybe i didn't try hard enough. thanks anyway.

You can put a trigger on the metal scaffolding on the side of the cable car building. Just be really slow in moving it around to search for the "sweet spot".

I promise you it is there. I have a deathmatch up there, trigger and all..

Sometimes if you go over spots and spin the marker around the will be small amounts that you can place on. I've done it on a few mountains but it is a strain
