To Spoiler or not to Spoiler?

Everything looks better with a spoiler. If I could put a spoiler on my sandking, I would.

Its really drag vs. downforce... but in game, I promise, it makes you go much much faster!!!!

...or not...

That is my question.

Also keep or remove spoiler off the following

Entity XF, Turismo R, Vacca, Jester w/ Spoiler or w/o?

To Spoiler or not to Spoiler is not just an appearance question. Are you trying to make a street car or racing version? Race cars have spoilers, and not small lip spoilers but big park bench size SPOILERS.

In your example it looks like your trying to copy the Ferrari Aurea concept so keep it street and don't use the spoiler.

The Aurea is probably not a good model for the Turismo though, I think the new Zentorno may give you better results

watchcaronline.blogspot.com-Ferrari-Aure

If your in love with the Yellow wheels why not do this version?

So Jester is good with the spoiler it has:

No, No, No, NO!!

If your gonna put all the racing mods on then give it a proper racing spoiler! That tiny spoiler looks out of place with that front end.

Do what you think looks best. Nobody on this forum can tell you what your personal taste is

I'm indecisive, I think they look good both ways, need someone to help me lean towards one decision.

then experiment with your cars

don't just boil it all down to spoilers, mess around with paintjobs too, eventually you'll find a combination you're completely satisfied with

I rarely put wings on my cars. Maybe a lip...

Going by your pics I much prefer how it looks without the wing.

Ferrari wheels -> Lozspeed mk.5

I got those on my Carbon, I have a thing about using the same rims though. I was originally gonna give those rims to my Turismo but I didn't like the Black lines on the rims themselves to.

0_0.jpg

I also have a thing about having only red ferrari's....I need help...

I find myself driving my Turismo more now with the yellow rims than previously since it gives the car something else besides plain red+black I just need to get over my feelings about my garage and cars.

Get a Cheetah and then you can have TWO spoilers.

The Cheetah is nice but the cockpit and double the spoiler double the fun thing ain't for me.

But it's got carbon fibre.

Everybody loves carbon fibre.

I personally love the handling of the Turismo with a GT spoiler, sticks to the ground really well. As for looks I can take them either way.

I actually think the spoiler on the Vacca doesn't look so bad. Curiously, mine is also painted in metallic lime green and with that same black spoiler :p

But as everyone said, on most super cars, spoilers look ugly. Keep your arses clean.

If you're indecisive and think both options look good, you could flip a coin, say heads means to spoiler and tails means no spoiler & go with that. Works for me anyway :)

There´s nothing wrong with spoilers as long as they fit the car they´re in.

If you got a Feltzer all tuned up to look like a DTM car, a GT wing makes perfect sense.

If you have a classy car like a Surano, please, leave it alone.

Wings are for race cars. Just like custom tyres. Wings fit cars with roll cages, loads of body mods, and a clear racing character. Supers are a grey area IMO. Sometimes it looks good, sometimes it doesn´t. Stockish supers look nice, but then again some supers still look nice in racing setups. Car in the OP is gorgeous both with and without wing, so do as you wish. Also IMO you do well not using custom tyres for this one.

Dude it's a freakin personal preference. Depends on the car and driver. My Surano used to have no spoiler but I got bored of it so I threw one on there.

You can do whatever you want, sure, but a spoiler or custom tyres in let´s say a F620, a Super Diamond or a Surano will always be nonsense. Some cars have class written all over them and it makes no sense at all to mix up some racing elements when they will never look racy at all.

It´s your choice to trundle around in them, but don´t expect others to hold their view about them.

I refuse to put the huge spoiler on my Jester, even with all its carbon parts. It ruins any type of sleekness it has. Plus in actual races that have any type of jump, other people can use that park bench as an easy way to flip you around.

I like the racing look for the Turismo so if I still had one, it'd have that big spoiler, custom tires, and carbon parts. :)

I like the entity with the spoiler because its not overly obnoxious and goes with the shape of the body for the most part.

I'd take it off the Vacca cause you don't want a spoiler on all your cars and its more of a cruiser anyways (relatively speaking at least).

I prefer no spoiler myself

Your car needs new rims, and a small spoiler on its back and a nice front lip spoiler.

People will love it. Such unique.

Everyone is entitled to their opinion, and some probably have a better idea of what belongs where, I don't doubt that. But too many arrogant aholes everywhere too. You want a chrome adder? Why not?? Who cares??? I personally always liked the Surano with No spoiler but I changed my mind recently. I don't care if it looks good to the majority or if it's realistic. I like it. End of story. I don't need validation from anyone and neither should anyone else. Drive a pink adder if that's what your heart desires.

My preference:

Turismo - Spoiler really depends on coloration. Some "racer" color schemes demand a spoiler, but if it's solid class, it looks better without one.

Entity - Ugly either way, but less so without a spoiler.

Vacca - Nothing makes a spoiler look good on that car. NO SPOILER.

Jester - If it's modded up like a street racer, the spoiler that is not the GT wing looks good. If it's not modded to look like a racer, it looks better without a spoiler.

Ballistic Jello

As I see it, the Turismo and Jester can go either way, Jester kinda needs outlandish front bumper and race mods to go with the GT wing. The other wings look ok as well.

Entity and Vacca spoilers are gross.
