GTA:O - What do our stats say about us?

Nothing I do in GTA Online relates to how I react in real life. I don't harm people, I actually never speed (I never go above the speed limit and I'm being 100% honest), I do nothing in real life that I do in GTA Online, so those stats would mean absolutely nothing.

You bring up a good point, but let me state I don't think it's accurate to draw straight line comparisons, e.g., speeding in game vs. in life, shooting people in game vs. in real life, etc., etc.. It's pretty obvious none of us are likely to actually do anything in real life we might do in the game. That's because it's a game and we know real life is obviously different from the game. The point was more about what you do in the game and how it relates to your personality, and whether correlations could be drawn from game play data that could outline a person's personality... For example, do your stats show you may be a jerk, or a nice person? Do you grief people or help them out? And of course, you could do both at times, which is why I said before, it would take significant time and data to start drawing out any trends.

I think you're taking this way too seriously.

Or I'm for sure going to hell for killing all those hookers. So many hookers......

Not taking it seriously at all, just musing, that's all. I enjoy thinking.

Unfortunately my friend..."thinking" in this community may as well be a crime punishable by death on the fact that 80% of it...doesn't.

My stats say that I am a role-playing, GTA-addicted loser that uses the game as a form of astral projection to improve my real life.

For instance, in real life, I am not much of a competitive fighter(I lack ambition). I now use the game to practice being competitive and fighting to be number one.

When I'm on my RP/money grind, that's me being top dog at my desired profession.

Whenever I earn $1 million in GTA$, I go and earn another $250,000 GTA$ to cover ammunition expenses, that's me practicing financial stability.

My character is hotter than I could ever dream to be, so I dress her in ways I couldn't dress in real life, especially since I'm only 5'2''.

Lol.. I hear you there.. If I could handle my real life like I do the game.. I would be set..

And if I had just a little more ambition to work out I could be buff like my character.. But in reality.. I am ok with being just a little fluffy.. :-)

You're over thinking this

If that's true, it then means you're under thinking everything.

Or did you have an actual insight?

This is potentially on par with the Stanford Prison experiment. I'm sold on your interest. Wonder if we can file a formal request for data scrubbed of player personal info? Just the raw data minus player IDs and GT.
