JiNX77
There are many legit paint jobs available and the pearl coat addition is great BUT, be careful with pearls, the images you see people posting only look like that when the lighting is right. In many situations you may not see the pearl coat at all. Also true with the add crew color to chrome glitch, a lot of time just looks chrome Make sure you like the look with and without the pearl coat. Oh and tricked out racers with skirts, big spoilers and custom tires rarely sport pearl coats. I guess I should take more snaps of my cars for purposes of demonstration. I have a Buffalo with matte black and a dark red pearl, I forget the exact shade. If the light isn't hitting it dead on you can only barely see the red, at night it totally vanishes. On another thread someone brought up a combo using olive and sky blue to make your car almost invisible from the air, I haven't tried it out yet though. Wiredmike420
Looking for some cool legit paint jobs for my cars, plz help!! Put Chrome on 1st, the Crew color on 2nd. For example mine is a Jackal with Chrome, and Crew Green, in the day light its completely chrome, however in shade and going through tunnels at night the car appears completely green. This works with any crew color, its pretty sick. SouthWestPayDay

JiNX77
Here are a couple to illustrate the above point of the pearls changing appearance or almost totally vanishing under different lighting conditions. Commander S
Top tip for making a 'cooler' shade of metallic paint - for example, if you want blue to look crisper, or silver to look less 'dirty': When you select a metallic paint scheme, the default pearlescent 'candy' colour is Ice White. Works ok for most things, but a good alternative is Frost White. Best way to think of it is this: if Ice White is more of a 'pale cream' colour, then Frost White is a 'pale blue' - it's a small difference, but the latter is a 'colder' shade on the spectrum. To give an idea of what I mean, here's the difference between the two, as flat 'classic' paints: Ice White (warmer): Frost White (colder): Edited April 24, 2014 by Cmdr_Shepherd
