Midnight blue with White pearl.

 

Dark steel with White pearl.

Black with ultra blue pearlescent. It looks sort of like midnight blue but the blue color stands out alot more.

Ignore the pink Surano (if you can! ) - the gold Prairie behind is bronze metallic, yellow pearlescent (also works with 'racing yellow', for a slightly 'brassier' shade of gold).

Best way to get a metallic gold paint in the game, IMO - looks great in bright sunlight:

Midnight purple with race yellow pearl is nice. So is any dark color with green or yellow pearl

You should look at the find a group and meetup subforum. There are TONS of great color combos and other good stuff posted there. The really good combos will require a custom RGB color from the save editor but they're worth it if you can get sp2mp to work. There are also some sites dedicated to posting new combos.

I would also recommend race yellow pearlecent over dark base coat. That Wine red one looks nice.

I went with Garnet Red with Race Yellow pearl. I know, it kind of looks like lava red here but when you're moving in it, it's hypnotic. I always see people bashing the chrome paint but I dig it along with the red on my Bati there.

Try feltzer brown with race yellow pearlescent. Makes gold.

Any grey/silver color with diamond blue pearlescent. It gives the grey color a nice bluish shade but not too much. Looks amazing especially when it's raining

While I like that gold, to me it comes off as way too yellow in direct lighting.

 

I use "Old Gold", bronze with a gold pearl to eliminate the yellow sheen.

There are many legit paint jobs available and the pearl coat addition is great BUT, be careful with pearls, the images you see people posting only look like that when the lighting is right. In many situations you may not see the pearl coat at all.

 

Also true with the add crew color to chrome glitch, a lot of time just looks chrome

 

Make sure you like the look with and without the pearl coat.

 

 

Oh and tricked out racers with skirts, big spoilers and custom tires rarely sport pearl coats.
