I edited the OP to increase awareness of my concerns with deleting.

 

I don't care if you never deleted them, that doesn't add any information to the pool of what we already know about the potential loss of data / vehicles on your main account.

I considered deleting her so I can do the change your character's appearance glitch on my first character, but she protested.

I don't even have a second character. With as unstable as this game is I'd be afraid that I'd lose my first, and more important character.

Nope since I don't even have a second character, thought of making a female one in slot 2 but I don't trust R*'s cloud servers. If they'll give us the ability to save our characters to our HDD then I might make one.

I've deleted both of my characters just so I can make them look better. My first character came out almost like me. My second, the female, isn't easy to make look good.

Well my second female character has all those valentine's exclusive clothes, so no. Even if I don't use her, she'll NEVER be deleted. OAO

I have deleted my second character twice without any problem or loss of Pegasus vehicles.

 

My only advice is and have nothing to back this up but I myself made sure that it was "logged" in on my 1st character before deleting my 2nd. Played little Online and checked that the Social Club page was showing my 1st character, the one I was keeping. Then went to character creation and deleted my 2nd.

That sucks. I deleted my second character yesterday to get the beer hat abd i didn't lose any pegasis vehicles.

I tend not to delete anything in the game. Wait around long enough and it'll disappear on its own.

Would never think of deleting my 2nd. It's practically my main. I did to much dirt on my 1st, but I can't bring myself to deleting because I have almost every Peg vehicle and a few cars that I don't want to hassle over acquiring again. Also weary of Cloud issues that could arise from deleting one.

My main is in slot 2 but i use my alt character for things like the beer hat glitch or storing Adders.

For those wondering, I DID delete my second character eventually and had no problems, but before I did I took 5 or 6 pictures of my rank 312 main, with rank and my ID on screen, list of Pegasus vehicles on the screen and a pic standing by the buzzard with the heli icon on the map. Paranoia or justified precautions, I dunno, but I deleted an alt at rank 130 that I had a Vestra on so I didn't feel like I was going too far protecting the millions of dollars of Pegasus vehicles on my main. If I did lose it I could submit a ticket to Rockstar with proof I had that stuff and eventually would probably see some reimbursement.

 

REMEMBER, when you have cloud server problems, do NOT hit "retry". Back out to GTA V single player and go back through the menu to reconnect. This has been the source of a lot of lost character data, which I discovered when researching problems with deleting characters.

I only had a buzzard, tank, vestra and cargobob, and I only really used the buzzard anyway.

I don't want to wait 3 months until I get a reply from R* and am able to use my buzzard again. I'll just recover the costs from a money glitch, I'm not going to grind just because of a glitch that R* still hasn't fixed.
