Can you auto lock something else than cops in missions?

Yes, it will lock on to all enemies, garbage trucks, etc..... it will also make it easy to blow up the objective (like the coke in LS Connection) so be careful!

But in free roam it's only cops? Not other players shooting rpg at me etc

Yes, dont worry about the RPG, worry about carbine rifles, your sitting in a glass canopy!

Great in missions, not overly useful in free roam I'll admit but I'd never be without it. Judging the Jury, Mixed up with Coke and Trash Talk can be done straight forward

Don't see any use of it? The only auto lock I get is on cops.

Have a friend ride shotgun. They can use the camera to tag other players and fire rockets for you. Also, it's fast and handles like a house fly. Just gotta find uses for it. I have heard super glue was invented in ww2 as liquid stitch. Look at it now...

Trash talk is a good earner using a buzzard. The buzzard is also a good way of getting five star wanted level :-)

Yep, before someone showed me a fool proof way to do RR solo, I used trash talk all the time. Quite often do 5-6 in a row without getting shot once.

Captain Revenge

Buzzard is a great addition to almost any mission, u can do trash talk mission at rank 81 in 5 minutes in the Buzzard, also a great mission to practice firing rockets at any object and hitting it with no police interference.

If you want to level up fast and are not worried about making tons of money use your buzzard and grind Cleaning the Cat House. Takes 3 minutes, Order buzzard>land over Anna> Fly to victory and a little over 4k RP without needing to fire a shot. Also, it makes missions like Los Santos Connection and Judging the Jury a breeze solo.

Practice using the 1st person view and the miniguns. Far better for pvp in freeroam than the missles.

Commander S

That, or practice ground 'bombing runs' - once you've gotten the hang of it, there's a knack to hammering the living s***t out of fast-paced vehicles without a target lock.

One thing that would really improve it, would be the ability to turn off the auto lock but still use the missiles, that way you wouldn't need to worry about the cops

I knew it could lock on to Jets, it's always been able to lock onto aircraft, but tanks? Are you positive, can anyone else confirm this?

If it can lock onto tanks it'll be the single greatest thing since cavemen carved stone into round shapes and called them wheels, sadly I doubt Rockstar would do anything so useful.

It could always lock onto jets the same way it did other Helicopters, or jets did onto each other. I once shot a Lazer down while flying a Buzzard, and by god it felt good!

That's why I got a Buzzard; more fun with friends.

I've used super glue to stitch a gash. Works pretty well but in hindsight, I should've gotten a rabies shot.

Ahh, the days before I had health insurance.

Once you get good at flying it you will find that you don't really need auto-lock for PvP in freeroam, especially when they are driving. Just gotta get your altitude right and lead your target, then "dip" your nose and fire. You don't have to hit them directly, just within 20 feet or so and the explosion catches up to the car.

But as said above numerous times, Buzzard is the best for missions. It makes most missions a cake walk solo.

I love the buzzard. The tank is boring IMO but the buzzard is so fun. I'm buying one on my 2nd character eventually. You'll get used to aiming if you fly enough. You can sometimes just find it but I love being able to get it whenever I want and it's great for missions like CCO2 if they ever bring it back and mixed up with coke.
