FYI the nitrous didn't increase top speed, it just increased acceleration and got you to your regular top speed much quicker.

I miss it. And btw it did increase top speed. I sat there with different cars in the same spot trying to break my top speeds and the nitrous version always had a notably better speed. My Futo went up 18 mph. And I used the Futo for months so it's not like I just had a bad couple runs.

Yeah but It would be great if rockstar allowed us to have it in free mode but if they did that I'm sure someone would find a way to glitch it in races

I enjoyed it very much in San Andreas while roaming. Not so sure it belongs in races but I wouldn't really mind it there either as long as you can turn it on or off and customize your races.

Try popping one of the front wheels off a Sultan then race it in a straight line. There you have it fastest land vehicle in the game, I hit 184 mph in my three wheel Sultan... How silly does that sound?

 

Back on topic I miss my entire Nos garage ... Mainly the sultan once again or my Infernos (budum tssshh) because it could climb mountains at warp speed and jump hills like nothing else.

I still use NOS in story mode, as I rolled back the updates.

 

It's amazing for off-roading. I would rather have NOS than all the new cars and updates, so I'm not letting GTAV update again until they release NOS as a legit upgrade.

 

Now watch, though, as they decide to never officially add this feature that they added.
