PT 3. What is a fair or acceptable number to reach? 3? 11? 24? 57? 103?

Just curious. I saw a thread on here once, but searching gave me no results (just a lot of flood warnings!). Cheers!

58 is a lot, too! wow. But I am in line with your #3... the "force vacate."

 

I recently went up to 47 with another player, who refused to leave yet kept coming back for more. No quit, no jumping to a Job, no changing sessions... and not even Passive.

 

The kid kept swearing at me and saying horrible things over his mic, so it seemed appropriate to keep it up. (note: I don't use my mic, so I never responded, which fueled him more).

 

To be honest, I felt kinda bad. Not so much, anymore tho.

2) I killed my Victim 51 times. But it's not as bad as it sounds! My Victim is a friend in real life. We're in the same crew, do missions together, but inevitably at some point whenever we play together we'll be in Freemode and even though he's over 100 levels lower than me he'll decide to start a war he can't win. So the 51 total kills are added up over time from different sessions, I wasn't griefing the guy.

 

3) Fair and acceptable aren't real in sandbox games. For me personally, once or twice is enough unless the victim keeps going after you. But that can change depending on my mood.

Well, I wrote that because the little unhappy killed me at first, then he tried to flee until I catch him, then he tried escape on passive mode and at the end nothing worked, I gave him hell until he left the session.

Nobody kills me while I'm buying a mask. no one

It seemed unfair, because if I'm going to kill a few randoms and if I see the guy are busy, I expect them to finish their stuff to kill them honorably, without benefits.

Hmmm is fair until he stop coming at you, 'till you've killed him enough to stop claiming for vengeance

(1) 24 times...none other than some troll spawn killing in his trollmobile (this was before I knew about passive mode)

 

(2) 26 times...on some tank troll that went to spawn kill me (only got up to 16 times), then decided to go AFK after he got out of his tank (yeah, I'm a douche for killing an AFK guy, but f*ck him - he was a troll)

 

(3) depends on the circumstances...if you manage to get a twanker out of his tank, then any number of times you kill them is acceptable. If it's a low level guy who doesn't give up, then only a couple times is acceptable.

3/ Until you admit it's been emotional and go your separate ways, unless they're AFK in which case 3 times, once because you should, twice as a precaution and a third time for not going passive mode in a safe place. Before leaving them leave some sort of sign like parking cars round them, so they know somebody has been lurking, you can always go one step further and pour some gas over the cars and retreat to a safe location and wait for them to return, shoot the cars and watch them panic for the lolz.

Its not the same person but you can clearly see I get a lot more than just even. XD

 

I go after the person until they leave the lobby so literally anything is the limit.

 

Oh yeah I should note that all of those kills and deaths were in a single lobby. I died 9 times because it was when I could finally get back on GTA Online after my character got deleted so I was a rank 3 vs rank 40s, which didn't go too well. I killed the guy 208 times because he kept getting tanks. He didn't listen so I made damn sure I made an impression on him.

Ooh, I remember how pissed I got when the business update came out and some jackass killed the guy at the mask vendor. Completely reasonable response.
