The Sewers are an Excellent Place to Avoid Bounty Hunters!

Besides your apartment of course... Anyway, the Sewers are fantastic for avoiding those amateur Bounty Hunters looking for a quick buck, or thousand. It's my No. 1 spot to go to! Why? Well it's pretty obvious really:

1) Your blip doesn't give away your position! Well, not your exact position. The majority of players in this game have less brain cells than the average Ape so they think that no matter what, everyone is going to be on the ground, not bellow it, or above it. They'll gather up in one spot looking for you, an 'invisible' player, and slaughter one another. Oh, it's a sight to see!

2) Even if they figure out you're in the sewers, there are fantastic hiding spots and ambush points to get the jump on them! All you need to do is make yourself anonymous on the radar and.... SURPRISE HEAD SHOT!

3) While waiting for your bounty to be over, you can entertain yourself by taking that Adder of yours that you bought with your hacked money a few months ago, and do loops around the pipes towards the entrance! SIK SKILLZ LED! Much better than sitting in your apartment watching the constant repeats of Fame or Shame or Republican Space Rangers. PS: Where's my Princess Robot Bubblegum Rockstar... I need some Anime in my life! God!

If for some strange reason an experienced, Level [You've been playing this game to long] Bounty Hunter shows up and decides to roll a Tank down their, then you're gonna have a bad time, just sayin'. It's happened to me once... or twice... three times maybe and I cried on my bed in the fetal position for days!

:sui: Or just do this... LIKE A BIT-

It's a great place to hold up for sure. the underground waterway used in the "rescue" tracey from the boat SP mission is a good place too.

Soran Is On

Do u mean the subway system that has the tunnel entrance under integrity way? It is a damn good spot. I like the high priority case building.

I use them to lose the cops, I'd rather just fight it out with bounty hunters. If they can kill me, they deserve the bounty

This is far more productive. Tunnels and sewers.. save it for the po-lice.

If you're talking about the area used to escape from the cops in the Jewellery Store Heist mission then yeah! I hardly see people using it though so I decided to share some knowledge.

Playing the game too long? What's wrong with someone getting their money's worth?

It's a joke dude, I honestly have no problem with it :)

Couldn't agree more, just learned to use today myself. By accident, ofcourse.. Got a bounty on my head for stealing an npc car, got back to my just improved Gauntlet to drive my apartment. Entering the city i got a chopper/bounty hunter behind and the fun chase begins. Always loves a good bounty hunt, but i prefer a bike when on the run. Can cut around corners better.. Anyway, he's shooting missiles and i'm racing against traffic, cut a wrong turn, down the drain and into the sewers :) All players on the map around where chasing my ghost above me, and i drive safely and fast to my apartment... to get my bike to get out then, but anyway, the sewers are perfect for some getaway fun. Saved me and my hard earned car from those rockets last second!

Once two people were hiding behind cover inside the sewers, after being killed I brought my tank down there after many tries from the different entrances abd was finally able to kill them.

Glad to see quite a lot of people agree! It is a pretty sweet spot to escape them bounties! I did get called out for hacking one time because I was in a part where there is a balcony of some sorts and a ladder leading up to it. A guy claimed I was hacking... He obviously didn't see the ladder next to him when I shot him. He came back later and I showed him, while still having the bounty on me. Stupidest mistake ever... Got a bit to cocky :p

once i wasted about a in game day with a bounty on my head. (i gt the bounty after i was in the sewers), no players knew where i was. they were just above me. until one guy found my car. i hid my blip, but he blew up my car. that 1 minute expired, he came back. i blew up his car. (i had no money in bank cuz i wanted to blow up some cars and i would not pay.) full 12,5k he paid. but then, someone hid their blip, and came from that uhh thing where it's a race, where the sewers have a exit, where it's water in the middle and two big lanes, near and next to secondary lsc.) and he killed me.

damn it was fun. just a few more minutes and i would've gt the money (3k tho)

Especially since you can earn way more doing missions in the time it takes to wait out a bounty, who has that much time to waste for a maximum of $9,000? Edited by CrazyRay

Inside the Merryweather docks. East coast, just south of where Satellite Communications ends. Rarely in the marina(do a few fly overs).

You people who hide from bounty hunters crack me up. What a colossal waste of time. I think they even changed it now so that if you sit in your apartment the timer doesn't count down anyway. Go play missions and make money and rank up or let someone kill you and get it over with, you're gonna die anyway so why waste your time and prolong the enevitable? Heck I Jack random cars or have friends put bounties on me so targets come to me, I love killing bounty hunters and don't find it at all entertaining to hide for an hour not accomplishing anything.

Deamons(don't know about the other bikes, hexer is a no go for leaving the termnal) work great for accessing the subway. Next time i end up with a bounty i'm going to head down there. Also i've found, from one experience at least, that going into the subway via a motorcycle works great for a quick pursuit. As long as you dont' use the Hexer, it's incapable of ascending the staircase at the top. It gets stuck, don't' know if other ones have the problem.

And from experience, A Sub works great, if a little boring after awhile.(unless you get to see a boat with two bounty hunters get oblitered by a jet rocket far above you). Although, there is something i've been experimenting with. If the Sub isn't moving, it could be possible to go fishing for it with detpacks. I've attempted it twice now to no success. But the first time I had the player in the sub vote to kick me, so I assume that the Detpack went off close enough to be visible and rattled them.

Submarine 10x better than sewers.

1. half as many people go for you

2. No one find you

3. No guns or rockets underwater (rockets just stop upon hitting water)

4. You can taunt them by bobbing up and out of the water going immediately back down

Anywhere underground is a good place to hide. When I have a bounty or wanted level, I like to hide in the train tunnel across the street from the Alta St. apartment. No one seems to be able to find me there.
