DigitalDivine
So I've been thinking lately, and I'm kinda getting sick of my Cheetah. It's a nice car, but I often get sick of having a car for too long. After thinking about it for a while, I realized that I miss my old Voltic. I understand that the Voltic is a lot slower than the Cheetah, but I'm one who prefers looks over speed, and I liked the whole "Lotus Elise/Tesla Roadster" look the Voltic has. Anyway, I was cruising around Los Santos a few weeks ago, and I ended up finding an NPC driving a Voltic with the roof missing (like how it is in the picture on the catalog). Does that mean the Voltic is like the Banshee and the Stinger, where there's a chance your car would happen to be convertible? If so, how small is the chance of getting a roofless Votic? I've looked them up on Google Images, and a lot of people seem to have them.
reform
The one time I bought it, it was roofless. The irony is at the time, I wanted the hardtop. You stand a better chance of getting it roofless if, once your car arrives, you get your mechaninc to deliver it to you on a sunny day. You are almost guaranteed to get the hardtop if you order it, and get your mechanic to deliver it to you on a rainy day/night. This is probably all because the game spawns vehicles in traffic depending on what the weather is doing. Davey Boy
I have had a Voltic before. I actually had it 3 times. 1 was a hardtop and the other 2 was roofless. I'd say there is no convertible Voltic. So it's like the Banshee and Stinger.
maybeanotherone
my experience tells me it's seems to be 50% chance of either, some colors seem to favor some versions.
reform
For what it's worth, my white voltic came roofless.
lordemperor
It's completely random and there are 3 variants - painted roof, carbon roof, no roof. Edited April 18, 2014 by lordemperor
Potato Bean
I like the voltic but I got rid of it for one reason: The front bumper. If it gets dented, it catches on the ground as you are driving and send you flipping through the air. One time I flipped about 15 times just trying to get to my apartment.
