And why wouldn't anyone know? It's explained in the first mission past the prologue... which is required to finish BEFORE you even can play GTAO... and I'm not sure about the first mission of GTA but I'm sure that is part of the prologue?

Falling and Flying is actually a good high speed jump race. I like it alot better than that Chumps x3 race.

I don't think it's verified though.

It's not politics freind...I am just pointing out that every time the thing comes up on the vote screen people flock to it. I personally am like you...but not everyone has the same tastes.

 

I was recently in a creator event where everyone was high praising every job no matter how f*cked up and ridiculous I thought they were. To each their own...no sense in bashing them for it.

Well that's 8 more races to avoid when possible, I'll try them if I come across them and will vote honestly but judging from the maps 'Brake out the Brakes' appears to be the only one which looks half decent depending on the 'clever use of props' as R* puts it, going on from that they say 'carve a new path in the Downtown Los Santos area of the map that has been well worn by other Job Creators' which tells me they aren't looking to verify many more jobs in that area. Also I can guarantee the majority of these jobs are just liked by crew member / friends of the creator which gives them such high ratings.

Decent layout. Checkpoints are fairly well layed out. My issue comes in the props with this one. While they are functional the large props create a lot of visual interferance. many of your corners are completely blind due to sharp or uturn around a train car or container. Looking ahead while driving is half the battle and your removing that ability. Im going to need some prop changes to give this one a yes.

i'm sorry dude but jumps are a lot of fun, more than a simple race like these gymkhana sh*t race.. it's cool to see if you have some skills with turns and trying to make the fastest lap and everything but when it comes to fun races... we need jumps, obstacle.. we need HOLLYWOOD ACTION MOVIE TYPE OF RACE like i am calling it.. and the average GTA online players will like this more than a simple race with nothing to have fun other than.. who got the skills to take turns very fast and to not crash and thats it.. This man speaks the truth, these gimmicky jump races are annoying. The only one that's any fun IMO is Four Way Madness, especially with Sixteen people and GTA Race on.

Don't you realize this is still a popularity contest? It's not about how good you are. It's about how many drones you are lucky enough to get to play your "creation". Did I say drones? I meant friends.

 

It's funny though, some of the better stuff I've played goes so far under the radar it's ridiculous. Never about what you know, always about who you know. I may have a bias due to so many bad experiences of created content.

 

In all honesty though, the process for verification needs to be turned upside-f*cking-down and examined. I'd much rather see a verified creation that doesn't have nearly as many plays (likes) but fits a certain criteria to go alongside R*'s creation. A basic grading rubric or something. It has to be tested by them and approved. Not selected merely because it's "popular".

I don't even bother with the R* verified jobs anymore. They've always been s*it since day one with prison thugz fight and jumps, jumps, jumps. I stopped even trying to play the jobs when they verified Long Haul 2. Whenever i join a custom or R* verified job, i leave immediately. The only thing R* verified jobs do is get shoved in my face whenever i try to join a random job. I spend more time lobby surfing for a decent match or on loading screens than i do actually playing this game. I wish R* would give us all the option to block all of the jobs we don't want to play any you can bet that all of the R* verified jobs would go on that list.

They were, and one each from the two approved threads in the creator section. Thats 3 rounds in a row.

I do think we have to understand that not everyone likes the same types of races. Obviously as much as it is played J3 is liked by a lot of people. I imagine these two new ones with ramps and collissions will be similarly liked by those people. I find it fair to verify something for everyone. Know that at least two of them will be quality for great racing.

The air race seems good too though I only soloed it. I'm a little concerned that the main under bridges section is straight off the start line - r* do seem to like an early carnage section in races....
