Screwball message from leader of 700 person crew recently joined after accepting invite shortly after accepting invite from 120 person crew: urging me choose between the 2 as they are enemies.

 

First of all it pisses me off somebody in a video game trying pressure me. I researched the 120 person crew - lots of hot gals and promotion for me. Realizing it wb ackward be in both I went w the smaller crew - a crew member from the larger one had killed me interfering w a mc resupply run - that was also another deciding factor. Glad I made the decision on the smaller crew it's quickly growing and lots of new friends.

If you read, you'd see I was already in passive driving around in peace, waiting for a job offer. Then the dude became an Ass and griefed half the lobby, me being someone who follows DayZ Hero rules, I got my own jet, came out of passive and shut his griefing session down, and then went back to passive landed and got in my car and continued my Sunday drive, And jets don't take skill, since the only real effective way of shooting one down is to get another jet and shoot the griefing one. I don't passive troll, if I come out of passive I have a good reason, if I go in passive after a fight it means I'm done with said fight, still no one else tried to jet grief in that lobby, so my goal was reached Edited January 17, 2017 by SuzukiRazgriz

You can't blow up an entire block in 2 seconds with a gun. Guns aren't explosive. Guns actually require you to HIT the target, while jets just require you too hit NEAR the target.

 

Jets are the most anti-skill vehicle in this game.

Driving to my vehicle warehouse in a stolen Valor, I suddenly get a text "You can do your jobs". Didn't see anyone enter my session, it's some guy over R400.

 

Now I know what he probably means. Assuming I'm paranoid about working on my businesses in any session that contains players I don't personally know, he sends a text indicating that he's friendly/neutral. Great.

 

But there are ways of saying things. And this sounds a lot like "Yes mortal, you may conduct your insignificant business while I am in your presence.".

I'm sure he means well, but my initial reaction was just "thanks for your permission, random stranger!". I'm not going to reply, though.

yeah , there is nothing to proud of how many kills you've racked within years playing gta online ( the same goes for call of duty )

apparently the similar case to someone who was once rubs me in the face by boasted he can kill jet pilots with sniper rifle , but he had payback coming at him really hard ( with a mere pistol , to cherry-tap him wielding sniper rifle ) , then he suffered mental breakdown after gambit i've used on him

For plenty of people, having a high K/D ratio is just a side effect of them taking pleasure in killing others and not getting killed themselves. Broken combat or not, killing and not getting killed in online games is typically still considered winning by most.

 

Not every player with a high K/D is a twelve year old "try-hard". Personally, I have simply CHOSEN to try and get/keep it high, but I don't go bragging about my number as I'm not pretending to be the best PvP'er in this game, nor do I even fight that often. See how that's entirely possible? And even if I hadn't made that choice, my playstyle would still result in it being higher than many others, on account of me being careful and not wanting to give other players the satisfaction of taking me down.

 

The only thing I find weirder than people going to extremes to get their K/D up is when people care so much about another player's numbers. Other people's K/D ratio's are apparently the hot new trigger here. (by new I mean since GTA:O release)
