What are the best/worst messages other players sent you ?

I got a really good one a few months ago while playing hold the wheel, where I managed to knock a random level 10 off the bicycle with my car at the last minute and won 15000 for the event.

 

No less then 10 seconds after that challenge, the random that I just killed and stole the bike from sent me a text that said "I don't love you anymore."

 

That was so out of the blue that I was actually laughing my ass off for a few minutes!

 

I sent a text thanking them for a good laugh and the cash that I won because I found it so damn funny.

I once got a text with apologies for screwing up the mission, but I have no idea how did he text me or how to answer.

I've only encountered a text that 1 time.

Is it through iFruit or sth? Cuz I'm pretty sure you can't write texts in game.

Through your phone mate. You select the user in the Contacts menu and then select the player, you can either call them or send a message or whatever.

Well I only have an option to call them, no message anywhere.

 

Some players don't have a message option for some reason. I would love it if it applied to me as well, as I hate getting hate and money texts in-game.

 

Is there even a way to block people in-game so they can't message you at all?

Some veteran rank 300 tried to kill me first, but fails, and I end up killing him. I drive off to go on my merrway, but get spammed with messages saying how much of a pussy I am and how I'm garbage. Oh, and don't forget the 1v1 requests.

They know they have all the unfair perks; the modded combat rolls, unlimited snacks and invisible body outfit, so they want to fight you while they know you're going to be at a disadvantage.

Worse might have been two pre-squeakers. I'd say brothers, maybe 7 and 9 yrs old. Actually, younger didn't even know how to read.

Anyways, i felt bad for them playing gta online, mic on, although it wad a quiet, maybe five-ten player lobby. I sent them a txt, and said that it is an adults game, and they should be doing something else, very politely. Then i listened as older one read it out (completely, invluding my name) and was kind of amazed and curious about the contact to another human. I asked them to mute the mic, listened for him to read it, (again completely) and say (very loudly) that he doesn't know how. I asked if there was an adult, and they asked for their mom. I txt'd that i am a dad of three similarlily aged kids, and that i thought they shouldn't be playing this game, especially online, and with mic on. She thanked me, agreed, and there was a light commotion as they tried to figure out how to turn the game off. Then they were out.

 

The icing was this one player, who came by when i was txtng the mom, and saluted me a few times. I was by LSC, so it might have been his goal, but stiil

I'm not proud that i joined a something vs something match i hate those things but nothing else was popping up in the quick job

Mine took place just last night and is a mix of messages and mic from one person. Its paraphrased but it pretty much on point.

 

Scenario is me and this other guy had a sniping battle which was pretty even until I started getting more and more kills. Eventually he just started spamming rockets but I was still five kills ahead of him. I drove off and this conversation ensued shortly after via text.

 

Him: Why you running?

Me: I'm not wasting my time with someone that spams rockets.

Him: You've got more kills than me though.

Me: Good observation. You've obviously been to Spec Savers.

 

At this point, I noticed him heading my way on the radar so I drove off to Los Santos Customs and left a Proximity Mine at the entrance, which sure enough, he drove over. A rather loud f bomb was heard and to my amusement, it was him. I quickly put my headset on as well. By the time he respawned, I had already driven off again.

 

Me: What happened?

Him: This isn't over. I won't stop coming after you until one of us leaves the session. You don't know me. I never lose on here.

Me: Well, good luck I guess because I still have six kills over you.

 

He ignored me for a bit to do the Fly Lowest To The Ground challenge. He was the only person in the session doing the challenge so I got my Buzzard and shot his helicopter down, which he didn't like either. Since his score was just over 1000m, I done the challenge and won. Karma bit me in the ass because he ended up shooting my chopper down with a Homing Missile Launcher.

 

Him: I'm a man of my word. Trust me, I will get more kills than you.

Me: Well you've managed to get one kill so you're kind of getting there.

Him: I'm coming for you soon but theres no f*cking cars around here. Just you wait.

Me: I'm waiting.

Him: Found a car. f*ck. Of course it had to be a slow one.

 

He must have shortly found a better car and started chasing me so I drove to Los Santos Customs and laid down another Proximity Mine which again, he drove over and got blown up.

 

Him: You're f*cking kidding me! How did I fall for that again!?

 

I drove through some alleyways and laid down another mine. He caught onto what I was doing and said hes not going in there. I drove out into the open near the Oriental Theatre.

 

Him: Stay there. You're mine now. I've been waiting for this.

 

As soon as he got within shooting distance, I went passive and repeatedly laughed at him. He yelled several expletives at me and made a few comments about my family etc. I just simply said "good game" and left, still laughing.

That happens to me when I muted that player. There must be an option somewhere to disable messages or something, keep looking. Probably in Online > Options.

A random from a heist setup mission who killed two of the other randoms and insulted me for being in passive mode before and after to avoid that janky crap. "pathetic" and "Pu$$y mode smfh". Such butthurt he couldn't get a third cheap kill.

Today I was fighting with player who chose EWO every time my heavy sniper or marksman rifle bullet that wasn't deadly hit him. He also quit as VIP and started to abuse passive mode after he got killed couple of times. When also passive mode abusing failed he left the session. Obviously was protecting his precious kdr which was a lot higher than his true combat skill level. After every kill I received badly written message telling "you are greasy fat virgin"

On my Xbox, I wrote on my bio "Rockstar Games" just as a means of saying I was a fan and I got some kid asking me to give him a job and I said "What?" and he replied "Job at R* plz"

I replied "I don't work at Rockstar dude." and he then replied "Liar! It says on your bio"

I replied calmly "That's just two words to say I'm a fan. Also says WWE and Aviation there but I'm not a wrestler or pilot"

"You're fcked now" is the message I receive from him a few seconds later. For the next 20 minutes he tries to get a kill on me time and time again, not once does he manage to, giving rise to one of the most one sided GTA wars I've ever been a part of before he quits the session.

 

Moral of the story? Don't talk trash if you can't back that sh*t up.

Five or so minutes goes by and suddenly I get message from the random reading "Hey there sexy" followed up with another message saying "I like big boys" ...I proceeded to leave the shop and drove as far away as possible from that individual

I received my best / most positive message last night.

 

I was doing Executive Search in the Grove Street area. A level 12 was being harassed by two level 50s in an Insurgent just across the railway tracks. He was doing his own thing but kept being killed for no reason. One of the griefers was taunting him over the mic so I told the level 12 via text to head towards the orange circle and I'll help him out, which he did. I killed the level 50s at least 15 times and blew up their Insurgent. The one with the mic kept trying to run but got sniped multiple times before they both ended up rage quitting.

 

Level 12 sends me a message thanking me and that players like myself make the game fun. I added him as a bodyguard and we done a heap of VIP missions after that.

Had a guy chase me in his Armoured Kuruma for my bounty for about ten minutes or so. After eventually surviving the bounty, he hides in his apartment, and then proceeds to text me in-game, saying ''next time, hoe''. Next time what? He also accused me of being a modder, since he couldn't claim my bounty in time. I texted him, saying ''You really were desperate for that bounty?'', to which he replied ''No, but it's cool''. Dude, you chased me for 10 minutes straight, then lashed out on me when I survived the bounty, and now you're telling me you weren't really hungry for that bounty? After all that, he just kept on saying ''hahahahah'' and all that.

I was playing bumper cars and this idiot gets out of his car and is standing in the middle part in safety and running out and running around and then running back there was a minute to go and my team was winning so I just sat there while this other guy was ramming my car when all of a sudden my own team mate kicks me out of my car I got run over by 2 guys I managed to get away and get another car and when my team mate came running out again I killed him and got this message.
