What are the best/worst messages other players sent you ?

I love being called a pussy or coward for tracking down a guy that pulled a "hit n run" on me, particularly in a super or whatever. Track him down, nuke him and his car, spawn kill him once or twice, just rile him up enough to chase. Then I bail. Passive or hide somewhere. The frustration is palpable and delicious.

I had a guy start on me using in-game messaging and then took it to PSN so he could send longer messages. There was nothing in there but calling me gay, basically. I'd killed him about 5 times and was using stunting as a method of tactical retreat and also for gaining the advantage of higher ground. That clearly means that I'm a homosexual, apparently.

 

I told him that calling people gay is pathetic. It's old, cliched and not actually an insult. He never responded after that.

Your retort was probably somewhat above his IQ. I mean, does anybody past about 9 years old use homosexuality as an insult?! If so, that's totally gay.

 

If somebody is homophobic, they will take being called gay as an insult.

He sucked too. I won't lie, I'm no pro. But this guy was on a different level. I mean, as he attempted to spam the marksman (my biggest weakness) and would miss 80% of the shots. I would pick him off continuously with my Heavy Sniper, even with the invisible body.

Been getting messages asking for money at least 2 to 3 times a day now, what was a lot less before.

I'm certain it has to do with my higher level, but asking if I'm a modder on PS4 is just plain silly, isn't it?

today while i was in a lobby for the most part fending off would be bounty hunters (i had a $3k bounty) until one player successfully collected my bounty, then we rudely found out we had a hacker in the lobby (but at he time i didn't who it was) the hacker caused everyone in the lobby to get blown up at once, the player who collected my bounty messaged me and asked me if it was me who caused everyone to be killed and i replied to by saying "no i'm no hacker but we do have a hacker in the lobby".

he replied by basically saying "i know but do you know how to do it?", that made me feel unconformable so i blocked him.

I play a with female character, and once, a looong time ago (PS3), I received message in game saying "nice ass", I responded with "I'm a dude". He then sent "oh..." followed by "your weird". I mean, just take a time to look at my nickname. Also, he's the one hitting on a digital female and I'm the weird one...

They just want you to know that they are better than you. When they finally give up on chasing you, they will text you stating that ''I'm better and you garbage pussy''.

The newer people, especially the kiddies and pre-teens, have very little knowledge of modding, so they don't know that PS4 can't be modded as yet. They're new to the game and already want modded money. Obviously they want that T20 all chromed out, or in some bright ass neon colour, so they can drive around in free roam and run players over while honking their annoying ass musical horns.

not sure if its been mentioned already but sending messages can be used to distract players. i send them all the time hoping the other player will spend enough time responding that my mugger gets them. sometimes it works.

 

Yes! Lmao oh my God, it's the best. I've used messages as a distraction to pop off some solid headshots long range.

No doubt. I've had a few try to distract me in retaliation, but obviously, it didn't work. They tried following me around as I drove, blew up my Entity with a sticky a few times until I went passive. Backed off for a bit, took passive mode off, and they came after me again. Set a few prox. mines at the beginning of an alleyway and watched as they drove into the explosion and listened as they bitched me out at high pitched volumes.

I just remembered a recent event. Some scrub lord decided to attack me and a friend after coming out of a mission or whatever. It was just the three of us in the lobby.

 

Well, he must not have realized we were in a crew. He got a handful of lucky kills and a super long headshot with a shotgun, and I got a couple of minigun, rpg, musket, you get the picture. Anyway, as we curb stomp him, he steadily spawns closer to his apartment, so we post up and do donuts and stuff, until I get a message "hold on, drinking whiskey in my high end apartment", emphasis on high end like I was poor even though I was like 3 times his level.

 

Of course, I have to respond with "k" and proceed to enter my apartment. In the same complex.

recently i got a message from a host from a random humane labs setup heist i failed a few times (it happens), he called me an "idiot".

i blocked him.

Was doing PS vans setup, we was on the last part to collect the van and take it to Lester's clothes factory. I stopped the van with my insurgent and the host got out of his car. I thought he was gonna take the van but he didn't. He ran over to my car and stood on top of it just staring off in the distance.

 

The van driver backed up and started driving away so I shot him to stop the van. The host then decides to do something, he quickly runs to the van, collects it and completes setup.

 

I get a message from the host afterwards saying "you're high level and you should know you don't need to shoot the driver, because you will damage the van. Just steal the van. If you didn't then you're stupid"

 

I blocked him for being uptight, lazy and for doing stupid sh*t. But yes I knew that. I couldn't figure out why he was lazy but then blamed me for perceived incompetence. Considering he was a navigater too, all he did was sit in his car by eclipse tower. Then followed me at the end to collect the van. Some other guy took all the photos by himself.
