Kinda felt guilty but not quite as he was an OP Mk2 rider with a KD of over 2.0.

If this was in my case, he would have called in his other Mk2 and gone ghost.

When I'm using my own Mk2 for getting around I'll generally give other players a wide enough berth that they should know I'm not going for them - but even so, it usually attracts a few K/D griefers in passing.

I get those messages quite frequently, and a lot of the times, it's when I'm AFK or minding my own business. They try to go for that one sneaky easy kill (usually by going off radar) and, when they succeed, try to rub it in your face in an attempt to you get you angry by sending you "1-0" or some nonsense like that. They tend to run off or kill themselves constantly afterwards to ensure that you do NOT get your revenge kill on them. If you're a high rank, especially with a high K/D, you are more likely to be a target, simply because high rank/high K/D = more experienced. More experienced = more likely to take "1-0" messages seriously. They almost never do it to low levels or casuals because they are less likely to get angry by such messages; they don't know any better. They tend to take the game less seriously. I know how these tryhard sweats' minds work.

 

It's pathetic.

The other day I had 3 griefers come after me on one of my "griefer-bait" MOC cab haulage runs - one deluxo who came for me before I even picked up the trailer - he came down low enough that a sticky bomb wiped him out - then after that 2 guys on Oppressor Mk2s came after me - I sent a mugger after one and Merryweather after the other - they decided to stick together and fight off merryweather on foot as they'd already used all their missiles up on me - they both died.

Best of it is, the one I sent Merryweather after decided to stick a 9k bounty on me - so I couldn't resist.  I sent him a message saying "Thanks for the $9000 bonus - I was only doing haulage to see if the lobby was safe to sell in, so I'm off to a solo lobby now." - it must've annoyed him so much, lol.

I think the player might have tried to say "Hacks" but it got denied so the player shortened it to "Hs" instead, that's my guess.

That's possible. Don't know how firing a rocket from a car is considered hacking, since that's what this game has become.

His friend had a bounty and was in the process of hopping in a jet, presumably to grief the lobby. I pretty much had a reason to kill him. Then this guy got upset that I killed his friend and decided to come after me in his precious Mk2, which failed for him. Then his friend wanted his revenge kill back, and so I killed him every time he charged at me. So yeah, I still had a reason to kill him afterwards. Mind you, after this message, both of them tried to come after me, even though I drove away, so I just defended myself. I mean, fair game. Just don't paint me as the bad guy.

 

 

And then, of course, he thinks I'm in God mode because they can't lock on and my Ruiner won't blow up. It's clear that they have no clue that the FL Ruiner 2000 is heavily armoured and cannot be locked onto. Sigh...

Knowing he's type he probably tried sending abusive messages to me via PSN but I have my messages sent to "friends" only so he's messages hit my brick wall

I know this post is a few years old however, as one of bikerjays main gaming partners since early 2017 I found this post utterly hilarious and can confirm his passion in life is sending messages like these. Reading this post out loud in a party has brought tears of laughter to us all. Even though he once complained about jets and their users, has now earned the nickname "Swanson" after Joe Swanson from family guy due to the fact his character is always seated in the cockpit of a Lazer and has seemingly lost the ability to ground fight, but his messaging game has only gotten more abusive and I am surprised there is more of his tirades on this forum
