Those kind of messages are a red flag. It usually means the sender is hiding in a wallbreach and wants you to take the bait and approach them so they can get a quick easy kill on you, then message you "Lzzzzzzzz". It's happened to me multiple times, but I'm not stupid. 

 

It almost always ends up in me picking them off through the wallbreach with the thermal scope. They get so heated afterwards. lol Well, they asked for it. They wanted some beef, and I gave them some. But it didn't turn out how they expected/wanted. haha

Some double digit IQ guy using a "youtube glitch" to be in god mode whenever he was in the nightclub van was harassing a lobby. I was listening to the chaos because a small group of players were trying to deal with him, and I rolled up in Passive. He tried to run when they started getting out the cargobobs to chuck his van into the ocean, but you can't outrun a PR4 in a van, so I stuck to him like glue. There was a little back and forth, but after I questioned the size of his dangly bits, he didn't say anything, until, fast forward a few minutes when he manages to get his van stuck in a ditch in the Paleto forest near Paleto Bay, and I get a message of "Help me out"

He had at this point left the van and immediately gone passive  only to return to said immortal van.

there's only 2 kinds of texts that i take to a personal level in this game. those are using diseases as insults such as cancer,autism etc and insulting parents/family.

 

it's already weak to insult someone in this game via texts for petty reasons but atleast do it without using someones familiy as a provocative.

 

this little sh*t realy could have used some opressor MK2 spamming on his ass when the lock on glitch was still a thing.

even worse is when it's the player starting the fight that sends these texts after you killed them in revenge.

so I encountered a fellow crew member who was in a organisation with 2 other people, I approached him and his little fanclub and he instantly killed me when I was being cordial with him, so his 2 little sidemen tried to pursue me and eradicate me for no reason, so I retaliated and decimated them myself, after some time I told him to stop killing me in which he responded with this^^^ since when the hell does the name of my organisation have anything to do with eradicating someone? he told me to stop when he killed me first.

The fact that they said such sh*t doesn't feel me with much hope about their IRL persona. These are definitely the types of monsters you definitely don't want around children.

Also if this is on PSN or Xbox, just report them directly and not to R* as we know they do sweet fudge all about reports. Last I read, PSN & Xbox take reported threats seriously.

Most of these people won't be able to say a simple hello to your face. Even if you look like an average Joe, but if you look like you lift a bit of weights or just a bit on a serious side, they will not even be close  it's not the game, it's the ability to talk sh*t without any consequences, I think. Anyone who have done even basic martial arts will be able to beat them without seriously raising their pulse. And god forbid if you are wearing the bage: they will be as sorry as they could, because they are afraid of any consequences of their actions.

I've always said it, the people who take pleasure in being assholes on the internet (and even worse, a videogame of all things) most of the time are also assholes in real life, it just happens that they either hide it quite well (while showing their true colors while behind online anomity) or are unable to be as much as an asshole irl as they would like to because they may either be weak or afraid of the consequences and they lash out online instead, being basically bullies.

 

It's kind of f*cked up, really.
