Yesterday upon logging onto a new session, I immediately got a text from a random:

I then attacked him with a Hunter, followed by the Akula.

And I got a nice message for a change (even though he could have called me a noob because I failed to take out his Hunter) :

I feel it's my duty to rid the world of Oppressor trolls. So I melted one with my Hunter. I returned to my hangar, and then noticed that he was in a jet, heading towards me. I came out in my Nokota, fired one missile, and he exploded. Rather anticlimactic, I thought, but it happens.

 

However, he spawned outside LSIA, and managed to spawn his Lazer on the road next to him. The SVW glitch, I believe, but it didn't matter. I shot him down again, and then went on my way.

 

He did it again, but this time went off radar, so I did the same and stayed at very high altitude. When he became visible (just literally sitting on the runway at LSIA, I mean, come on, man), I came down behind him and blew him up.

 

Once more, he called the Lazer next to him, and once more, I came down and put two missiles into him, this time before he even left the ground.

 

He sent "p()ssy", and then called it in again. I replied "5-0" and came after him. This time, we actually had a midair collision, but my Nokota managed to survive (minus control surfaces). His Lazer did not. And so he left, but not without a final message.

 

"Lzzz" he said, and then disappeared.

That's because the lad who messaged you is extremely well known classy GTAO player. Damn, these mofo is even famous in his circle. He helps Ghillie Master with aerial videos, check them out for quality aerial fights and more info.

 

P.S. I'm not surprised you failed to take him out though.

Spawned in public session after a heist setup - read the following:

 

random: "biiicycle biiicycle"

me: "I want to ride my...."

random: "high five (insert short form of my gamertag)"

 

He got killed after that and I decided - aww, sh*t, why not. Hurried to my nearby facility, activated the orbital canon on the guy who killed my "Freddy".

And I finally accepted the invite to the next setup.

Maybe my Pyro didn't look as friendly as Brutal Trout's Starling did...

 

Come to think of it actually, I've only seen one random flying their own Starling around and they decided to go up against my Pyro. Easily one of the most fun dogfights I've ever had. Those two (especially the Starling) are very underrated aircraft and can be extremely powerful with the right pilot.

Yet AGAIN I'm hearing the 'noob' insults for owning people in a Starling. It's insane, happens every single time. Most recently I was killing some people who blew up shipments.

 

I got 0-11 on one, 0-3 on the other, before they went passive. They stayed passive, in-session for about 2 hours just to keep spamming 'noob'... and somehow claimed I was 'salty'. For what, I still don't know. Hell, 30mins in they claimed they were leaving, but they still stayed because they couldn't accept a loss. Sure sign of salt. At one point they used an orbital cannon (which they mocked others for using) on me and acted like that gave them the win.

 

It's downright ridiculous how narcissistic and deranged some GTA players are that no matter what happens, they win, because apparently their haHAA mum jokes and 'noob' spam for 2 hours gave them a win.. through 'trolling'. FYI there was 0 wit to any of their insults, it was literally just 5th grade mum jokes. If that's not salt, idk what is. (they seriously just stood in one spot for 2 hours in passive doing this)

As for his friend who plays the crash test dummy in his videos (too bad I didn't realize that was him) he clearly knows what he is doing with his Hunter. We just had one encounter and then we focused on dropping bombs on a lvl 8000 and his friend (they had no idea what they were doing lol).

well these tryhards often having high opinion of themselves on top of being sociopathic

from simple "Lzzz" to "Kill Yourself" demand and to slurs. sometimes they even being hypocritical because that's how they verbally defend themselves

 

sheesh can't these kids's parents monitor their children?

 

P.S you can just use avenger/MOC and hide there to survive an orbital cannon strike

I didn't think you'd be anyone from here, but the way you were playing (just more original than the generic players) and using the Starling I just knew you must've seen Ghillie's videos lol, and that kind of tickled me I guess. Coupled with you putting up a good fight in the Starling (hit me twice actually), I tried not to attack you again, and just focused on those other two guys - ended up with a kind of unspoken peace.

 

And yeah, I remember that towards the end. We'd just go in opposite directions, zooming past and dropping bombs on him lol.

Welp you were kind enough not to come at me and finish me off after I had to bail out of my Starling, so I didn't felt like coming back at you and just be an annoyance. Also the fact that you use sparkles rather than flares got my instant respect. And I had those two guys on my back as soon as I landed. I didn't realise who you were yesterday, but I just watched Ghillie's latest video and I think I would have connected the dots today. "Hey it's this guy I met in his hunter that uses sparkles and sent me a kind message !".

So there was a CEO doing Headhunter and I wanted to try out my freshly purchased Deluxo weapons.

I would be killing him whenever he got close to the target, while a random in a Khanjali that I was strategically trying to avoid would kill him while the CEO was on foot. Ended up getting fan mail. Dunno if the Khanjali guy did too.

So I was just flying about in my Akula, watching players go about their business when someone started Sightseer and was on the map for all of 20 seconds before disappearing again. I knew that the Akula hid cargo (another thanks to Ghillie for that one) but I had no idea it hid VIP work until I saw some distant nav beacons and a black silhouette. I started following it in my Akula, but when I was about 100m behind it, the pilot noticed me and we got into a homing missile vs. barrage dogfight. I got his rotor with a lucky hit and he bailed out. They were probably going to get the homing launcher out if I stuck around, so I just flew off. About a minute later, the CEO was on the move, but on the radar this time. They were driving what looked like an armoured Cognoscenti, but one barrage quickly dealt with that and ended the mission.

 

After the player respawned, I got this:

 

 

I gave him the 12 grand I got and replied with 'I didn't know the Akula hid you in VIP work' and apparently they didn't know that either. Funnily enough, I told a friend that I hadn't seen many people using Akulas in free roam (I've only seen two or three on the map and only one tried to attack me,) but then again, that's kinda the whole point of the chopper.

Since this has happened multiple times recently I figure it's a trend and worth mentioning.

 

3 different random players who did stupid things and got called out on the mic decided that telling me that I sound like I'm 40 was a HUGE burn!

 

Considering I'm closer to 50 I took them as compliments!

 

Seriously though do kids now think they are the only people who game?

 

 

It would appear that the majority of the GTA community are about as intelligent as p*ssing into the wind. My girlfriend was playing the other week and when someone asked her what her age was and she told them 25, they started claiming she was a paedophile and saying at 25 she should have better things to do with her life. Because nobody has downtime and hobbies at all......

The GTA community really is the worst of all.
