Back when NY had a ton of crime and was very dirty and gritty. Just look at the Warriors for reference of what I am talking about. I would love to see a rendition of Liberty City in the 1980s, with focus on Bohan, Algonquin, and a rendition of Harlem. It would work so well. I dont really see NJL's stories fitting in with the time though maybe Niko's or Johnny but IDK. Maybe if it were about Dwayne and his crew running North Holland and his empire (apartments full of money) owning the Triangle club and dealing with Cherise, Jayvon, and a young Playboy X. Or maybe about Ray and Phil both trying to rise in the Pegorino family or Manny Escuela's life in Bohan the possiblities are endless.
