Freeze Advice: Stay out of public lobbies!

I know tons of you are complaining about this console freezing when playing GTA:O, I'm not 100% sure when it happens or why, as I have rarely ever experienced this issue, but if I were to speculate, I'd say the source of the problem is in free mode lobbies.

 

I am constantly in and out of jobs when I play GTA:O, be it missions or racing, and very rarely spend anytime in free mode, but the 2 minutes I did spend in it the other day inbetween jobs, my console froze.

 

So if you're suffering from console freezing, best advice would be to keep yourself busy in jobs and stay out of those public free mode lobbies.

 

Besides, free roam is a pile of wank at the moment anyway with not much to do, so you won't be losing out by staying away from it.

I like to be in the free roam lobbies full of players, so that ain't gonna work for me.

yesterday I froze in an invite only session. I also thought I wouldn't freeze by playing there, I was wrong

Boy does this sound mighty fun.. I've just had it lock up twice within 15 mins, but FR is far more fun than being alone. Probably wouldn't bother turning the game on for that.

I've frozen between jobs after coming from an invite only session, but admittedly not as often as when playing in free roam lobbies.

Just tried to load an invite only session and I just froze again. =|

 

Edit: loaded up a different xbox on the same network and froze playing RTR in private lobby. Freezing is crazy today.

Screw this, even solo sessions freeze up. Especially when you request any vehicle from the mechanic/pegasus or go from non-traffic infested areas to the city where all the sudden cars spawn. Or just out of nowhere for no apparent reason.
