Pretty good idea actually, the only thing better would be to have randoms in a session get a phone call when another player in session hits 5 stars and the randoms that get a call have a choice to be an undercover cop and get to hunt the 5 star rampager. Like a mini bounty only a couple in session get to target.

Pretty good idea actually, the only thing better would be to have randoms in a session get a phone call when another player in session hits 5 stars and the randoms that get a call have a choice to be an undercover cop and get to hunt the 5 star rampager. Like a mini bounty only a couple in session get to target.

 

That would be even better...like the police calling in Batman for assistance. Person would have a few minutes to respond, if person is still alive, they would call another player in session.

Sontedpimpso's idea up there about a random person in lobby getting the call would help to alleviate abuse.

Nah - part of the fun of 5-star wanted levels is seeing how long you can lead the cops on for, not also dodging a bounty, which is a different thing entirely.

I mean, if you're really desperate to do both simultaneously, it's not hard - jack an NPC car before/during your rampage, and you're good to go.

I wish there were six stars; the bank heist in paleto in sp was pretty epic; tanks being flown in, military intervention..it doesn't have be a massive army just military assets with a considerably lengthier trigger compared to achieving 5 after 4.

Might be fun, especially if they made it so any bounty hunter that takes a shot at you in front of the cops instantly got 5 stars on themselves too, so if they kill you they get money but now they have to run and have a bounty on them and if they miss, now you're both being chased with 5 stars and bounties

you might be messing around with a few crew members or something and having fights with the cops, the last thing you need is you all getting a bounty when you reach 5 stars.

Ok heres an idea, that may tie along the lines of the GTA-esque type of development.

 

 

ANY player in the freeroam session is entered onto the LSPD police computer like any other suspect. After five stars is warranted on that player

 

any other player may hijack a police vehicle

hack into the police computer and accept a viglante mission worth RP points, and cash will not be abused

As long as the person who claims the bounty immediately gets the 5-stars on them, and thus their own $5k bounty on their head, and can't leave the server or they'll lose everything then I think it's a brilliant idea. Bountyception. Five star idea.

It's not a good idea. The cops are f*cking annoying and a deterrent to being the character GTA forces you to be - a criminal. We don't need that situation being made more severe than it already is. I got five stars in that hangar with the roof in the desert airfield and had a friend help me fight off cops from behind crates. There were 15 cop cars outside with two cops in each by the time I had 3 stars. Five? I got five. People found out what we were doing and swarmed us so we had five stars worth of cops (about four-thousand) rapid-respawning every 3 seconds (unrealistic) and players trying to f*ck up what we were doing. You add bounties onto that and it's just intensifying the magnetic attraction people have with tracking people down and f*cking them up the ass with gunfire.

Can only get a bounty from the police every X minutes, like how you can only set a bounty on the same person every X minutes.
